Placements: The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant and TCS. Many startup companies visit our college to recruit students. If you have the knowledge, you can get placed in a good company. The salary packages depend on students.

Placements: Our college is not very good for mechanical students as per placements. I suggest you try to take admission in CSE, IT or ECE departments. Faculty members are good, but placements are not good. TCS and Cognizant are always top recruiting companies. Haldia Petrochemical visited here this year to recruit only one student from mechanical.

Placements: Condition of placements in this college is not that good. No core companies visit this college, only Mass Recruiters. My course is Electrical Engineering and as no core companies visit, students from our course at last sit for placements in companies like TCS. The highest salary offered on-campus is about 4 LPA. No idea about the lowest. TCS is the top recruiting company for all the courses. From my course a significant number of students get internships in different core companies.

Though the present placement scenerio is not very good but our college is trying best to improve this scenerio and as a result placement is increasing every year.

Placements: Placement is average. Mostly IT sector companies comes for campusing. Good placement for CSE and IT students. Very less scope of placement for Mechanical and Electrical students. Only private company comes for placement with avergae packages. Role of designer assistant management.

Placements: If I talk about placement then it would be very pathetic because placement is not that much good as a government engineering college. Last year 40% students got placed and maximum placed in TCS, No other mejor company no core company. Mechanical and Electrical, their only hope is GATE. For ECE some of then placed at TCS and no core Company. Also some other companies have come like tech mahindra, wipro but took a small number of students.
