"Strong Faculty and Industry-Ready Curriculum; Challenging Exams and Facilities Need Improvement.
Placements: ?50% of students were placed. ? The highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average fall in between. ? TCS, HCL, and IDEA were among the leading recruiters. ?95% of students secured internships in various companies. ? Roles related to skill learning, training, and internships were common.
Infrastructure: ? Facilities and Infrastructure: The department offers excellent facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, fully equipped modern labs, spacious and well-maintained classrooms, and a comprehensive library with a vast collection of resources. These facilities support an engaging and effective learning environment. ? Hostel and Other Facilities: The hostel facilities, along with the quality of food in the mess and canteen, are average and could be improved. Medical services are basic, and the sports and games facilities are limited, needing better upkeep and investment.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing high-quality instruction. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. However, semester exams are challenging, with a pass rate of 60%. But placement rate is very poor.
Other: I chose this course for its practical skills and industry focus. The best parts are the hands-on learning and strong industry tries. I wish the curriculum would update more often. Campus life is lively with great events, diverse crowd, good connectivity, and strong extracurricular support.

Affordable with Decent Placements but Good Faculty. Thank you.
Placements: The maximum placement package offered was 7 Lacs per annum. About 85% of students were placed in my course. The lowest package offered in my course was 2.5 Lacs, the highest was 7 Lacs, and the average package was around 4.5 Lacs. As a fresher, I may not have in-depth knowledge about specific companies, but I am aware that over 300 companies visit the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The feels are minimal, so the infrastructure and hostel are good in comparison. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are available. Canteen and medical facilities are not available. The quality of food available in the mess is average, not good. Sports and games facilities are not much better but are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are average in terms of qualifications and knowledge, and while they provide basic support, the overall teaching quality could be improved. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and aligns with industry requirements, as it follows the syllabus provided by IKGPTU, ensuring students are prepared for professional challenges. The examination is conducted with stringent protocols, requiring a minimum of 24 out of 60 marks to pass the theory component.
Other: I chose this course because it is in high demand and the opportunities it offers. The best aspects are its affordability and alignment with IKGPTU standards. Improvements could include better faculty quality and more extracurricular activities. The campus could enhance its events, connectivity, and overall student engagement.
