The college provided good placements in 2023. There is a good infrastructure but of average quality.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students got placed in the Information Technology course. This is the 2nd top branch in KIIT. The highest salary package offered in the college was 63 LPA in the year 2023. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. The highest salary package is given by Yugabyte Software. Top recruiting companies that visit the college to hire students are TCS, Cognizant, KPMG, etc. About 30-40% of students got an internship in companies like Deloitte, Cisco, etc. Generally, students are hired as software engineers in companies.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is connected with Wi-Fi. There are well-connected labs for regular practicals and also specific labs for research. Classrooms are good. There are separate libraries for each department and also a central library. The hostel infrastructure is good. There are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms with 1, 2, and 3 sharing rooms. The food in the mess is average, canteens and are available. Near KIIT there is a KIMS hospital, and you will get a free primary checkup. Sports and games are very good at KIIT. There are a lot of playgrounds. There are separate stadiums for different sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are helpful to the students. Teaching quality is good but it can be improved. The course curriculum is relevant, and they teach you a good level of coding in modern languages like Java and Python. The course cannot make the students industry-ready because the university needs to follow the government of India's standard syllabus but they try their best. Semester exams in the college are of moderate level. The pass percentage is almost 95%.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding. The best thing in our course is the placements. I think in my course the college should improve the quality. Every year a grant fest and various small events of different societies are conducted. The campus is very crowded. The connectivity is good as the railway station and the airport are 10 kilometers away from the college, and you can get a bus, auto, etc., to go there. The campus surroundings are good. The campus is very big and green. There is a scholarship for toppers of every semester. There are many societies for extracurricular activities.

Really good infrastructure along with hostels. The placements are moderate good.
Placements: According to the college, it provides 100% placement, but I don't think it's true because, till now, only 60 to 70% of students have been placed. Last year, the highest package was 63 LPA, and the average was around 7 LPA. Dell, Adobe, Microsoft, and Amazon are the top recruiting companies in KIIT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided is excellent, with 24/7 availability of Wi-Fi. The labs are open for any projects any student wants to make, and the library is also available for each and every student, which is also of the best possible. The hostels are clean and well-maintained with large rooms to accommodate students easily. The food provided is also good. You get a new meal every day of the week. Sports and games are available for each and every student along with coaches to teach you. Medical facilities are also available at any time of the day.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful if you reach out to them with any problem related to your academics. The starting years are subjects which are not so much necessary in the industry, but later on, the curriculum will make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course as right now this is the best and it creates most paying jobs in the industry. The subjects taught in the freshmen year could be changed in order to make us industry ready along with more practical to make us ready for the upcoming recruitment drives. The college holds a fest every year and it's a grand celebration. There are plenty of events happening now and then. There are many extracurricular activities happening in the college to keep students busy. The college also provides scholarships to students performing extraordinary in semester exams.

An average college, which I regret joining.
Placements: Placements are average at this college. My brother graduated from here, worked very hard, and still only got a 5 LPA package despite having a 10 CGPA. They claim the average is 14 LPA and the highest is 1.3 CPA, but that isn’t true.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, laundry service is available, and Wi-Fi works well. However, the college's in-time is very early, and even seniors aren’t allowed any flexibility. Wardens impose fines even for minor issues, which isn’t satisfactory for a hostel. The food in the mess is average.
Faculty: Faculty are said to be among the top 2% globally, and teachers are qualified but very old, so the quality of education suffers. The college ranks NIRF 15 mainly due to K-Innovation, campus, and the area of the university, but placements are lacking.

It is a college where students enjoy their college life to the fullest.
Placements: Our college claims 100% placements, but only 80% of the students get placed every year in different companies. The highest salary package offered this year by TeraByte is 1 crore per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by TCS. Top recruiting companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Philips, TCS, IBM, Infosys, etc., visit the college for placements. About 50% of students get internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered by the college are top-notch. Classrooms are big and tidy with well-connected Wi-Fi everywhere. There are separate labs for physics, and chemistry, and a computer with an air-conditioner. There is also a big central library in front of campus 3. There is an option for taking hostel during admission. Hostels are good and everyday staff members come to clean your room. Every hostel has an attached mess for food which gives breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. There are many sports complexes on almost every campus. There is also KIMS Hospital, which is free for us.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and educated. They have pursued their B. Tech, M. Tech, and PhD from reputed institutes like IITs and even from abroad. Teachers are also supportive and will help you at every point. The course for 1st year includes subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, maths, mechanical lab, engineering lab, ED graphics, and many more, which students read in engineering. From the 2nd year, you enter the domain course. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is about 90% or even more.
Other: I chose this course because I have failed for JEE exam and also as a president of West Bengal, Bhubaneswar is very close compared to other private colleges. I have heard of good reviews and placement records from my seniors who got admitted to KIIT. Campus surroundings are also nice and enjoyable. There are many clubs and societies for extracurricular activities.

Really low Internship opportunities.
Placements: Only 10% of students got internship during summer internship drive. BNY Mellon is the highest-paying internship company with Rs. 75,000 and Dell (paying Rs. 35,000). Dell recruited most students for internship. SDE is a top-offered role in our course. Optum is recruited from our college. At first, everyone filled out the form but only girls got shortlisted for OA round.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good on our college campus. Wi-Fi provided by Airtel can give up to 1mbps to 10 Mbps speed but it doesn't work while training outside. Labs are equipped with high-tech equipment and computers with good specs. Classrooms are also modern. Library is modern with good amount of books. Mess food is moderate and medical facilities are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are good but some teachers are strict and don't care for students. Students have to be careful of them while choosing section. Unnecessary courses are added but some courses are industry-relevant. Semester exams are not that much difficult. Problem is if students get good internal scores their CGPA will be high. Pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I choose the course because I want a background in CSE. But I don't like the outcome. I wish teachers are student-friendly. Fest and events are always best in KIIT. But large number of students may annoy one during the fest.

Good hostel life, but compromises campus life.
Placements: Placements in this college are good and above average. Most students get placements in good companies but please don't go on the saying that this college gives 100% placements. Around 80% of students get placed here. Top recruiting companies here are Deloitte, Dell, TCS, etc. The highest salary package offered is 64 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad of this college, it's written on the website that it is a very big campus. But, the whole campus is divided and buildings are very far from each other and in between there are public roads. But there is every kind of facility present there like Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, library, etc. Hostel offers are quite decent and food they offer is above average, some will like while some will not like. The only flaws in the hostel are the in and out time which varies from hostel to hostel. Medical and sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good the way they teach is also good. Course curriculum is quite decent when compared to other colleges. Semester exams are quite difficult as they keep on rising per semester. About 95% of the students easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because the market of this CSE course is on peak right now when compared to other courses. Best thing about this course is this course makes students industry-ready. Everything is good about this course and it keeps on updating itself. They organise average events and fests nothing special about this, crowd is heavy here, connectivity is good here. They provide scholarship during the entrance exam.
