The college has good placements and supportive environment.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. There are a lot of placement opportunities for students to grab. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, etc., visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is between 3-4 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got placed in 2018. Most of the companies are non-core which include Accenture, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Review of KIIT School of Engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good and satisfying. I got 2 placement offers, i.e., one from IBM and the other one is from Accenture. The placement cell tries its best to provide placements, and almost 100% of the students get placed by the end of their 8th semester. More than 100 companies participate in the recruitment process, and by the end of the 7th semester, more than 80% of the students get placed in well renowned MNCs.

Good placements and infrastructure, but faculty can improve.

Placements: Placements in college were good for both the passing out batches of 2016 and 2015, especially for 2016 as the mass recruiting companies offered almost 4,000 jobs overall. There were a lot of job offers in the software field, but there were very few job offers in the core sector, and core companies also didn't visit in big numbers.

The college has good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements were good enough for our batch and our junior batch. More than 90% of the students got placed. Most of the students had bagged jobs with around 3.50 LPA salary packages. Internship offers were less for our batch but had increased for our junior batches. The average stipend offered for internships was Rs. 15,000 per month.

Above average placements for the computer science department. ROI was poor for other branches.

Placements: Mostly, IT companies have visited our campus to offer placements. Only a few core companies have visited our college. Placements for the students of the computer science department were above average. If we rank different branches according to their placement records, the computer science department ranks first, followed by IT, ETC, EEE, E&I, EE, mechanical and civil departments. High intake of students is the reason for the drop in placements. Return on investment is very low as the fee is very...

We can have an excellent experience at the college. Learning atmosphere is optimal.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Almost 90% of the students got placed. I am not exactly aware of the percentages and packages related to placements. Many companies related to different branches of engineering visited the campus to conduct placement drives. Roles like software engineer, leadership, analyst, etc., were offered to the students.

Kiit Review by Pritisha Biswas.

Placements: Almost half of the campus have been placed with the top packages from High radius, ZS Associates, Mu Sigma and Deloitte. Day 2 is yet to begin and we are striving towards 100% placement this time too. Mass recruiters such as accenture, infosys, wipro, cognizant and tcs have also visited the campus and a huge crowd got placed too.

I'm neutral about my satisfaction with the college as I am only a first year student.

Placements: As informed by our seniors and the college itself, the placement facility is considered to be very good. Nearly 90-95% of the students are considered to be placed. The highest package is around 24 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Along with the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc., big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google and Microsoft also visit for placements. Job roles are offered based on the stream a student is pursuing, and the technicalities learned in the stream. Internships are p...

One can secure their future and at the same time can be innovative.

Placements: Placements in this year, i.e. 2018 have been very nice and are still going on. A lot of students have been placed in prestigious companies like High Radius, MuSigma, Deloitte, L&T, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. We asked our seniors about their placements. They told us that you don't need to worry about that. Good companies always come to KIIT, so one just needs to work hard to get placed.

Dissatisfied with the behaviour of wardens and the condition of hostel and mess food.

Placements: The college is known for its placements as most of the students get placed in the campus placements. The placement record of our senior batch is very good. IT companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., visit the campus, every year, for placements along with core companies like Robot Bosch, Mu Sigma, L&T etc. Most of the mass recruiter companies visit the campus on Day-1 or Day-2. College is good with the proper facilities.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite good for the last few years. There is also an increase in the companies which are visiting the college. Placement season is quite long so that the students get placed in more than one company and get better salary packages. Top companies, i.e., not only IT but also core companies visit the campus for placements.

On day zero, companies like Deloitte and Mu-sigma hired more than 100 students. On day 1, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro visited the college and recruited the students in mass, and students were left with multiple job offers. Some other companies like VMware, SAP Labs, Amazon, etc., also visited the college.

Partly satisfied but not worth the money you spent on a B.Tech degree.

Placements: The placement was good but not extraordinary. Service based companies took the majority. Almost 95% placement was there. The average salary was around 3.2lpa which is quite less for what they charge for the degree. Some companies for which we registered never came.

Decent college to start your career.

Placements: Placements are pretty decent in KIIT. Lots of IT companies visit the campus like Accenture, TCS, Cognizant and Insists and many others as well. Even core companies like Robert Bosch visited during our time. Deloitte is one MNC which took a decent number of students in recruitment.

Placements: The placements are really good in this branch. There is a training and placement cell im the university which is helpful for the students from the point of placement. Although the placement was not so good in the last year. But the university is constantly trying to keep it better this time. Good experience in beautiful infrastructure with knowledgeable professors and good friends.

Placements: The placements were very good but the selection process was not only on merit but also on luck. Various companies have come with good packages. Pre placement preparations were also done perfectly. The placement in day 1 were a bit tough. Management roles should also be given importance.
