One of the best private colleges in India.

Placements: In terms of placements, KIIT has created a benchmark since its establishment by giving a record placement of above 90%. KIIT is visited by many reputed companies like Microsoft, Vmware, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, Ericson, Harley Davidson, Tech Mahindra and the number goes on to recruit students from different streams. Last year, the average package offered was 4 lacs, 14 lacs being the highest and 3.2 lacs per annum being the lowest. This year also the placement is going very well with...

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.

Placements: The placement scenario is very good with at least 95 to 99 percent students having at least one job offer. About 70 percent students had more than one offer. The only downside is that the average salary offered is 2.5 lakhs per annum to 3.5 lakhs per annum. Highly reputed firms like Siemens, Amazon, Microsoft etc. visit but seldom find any candidates who are worthy enough.

It is a good private college.

Placements: This college is really meant for placement. The college gave 100% placement in ETC branch. The average package is 4-5 LPA and mostly, all the IT companies visited here. The companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, iNautix, Infosys, Ericsson, etc. visited here every year and also gave jobs to many students. The bad thing is that no one got any good internship from the college.

Placements: Lot of companies come to our campus to recruit students. Some of the top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Mu Sigma, VM ware, Deloitte, Ericsson, Bosch, Accenture, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Inautix, etc. Around 95% of the students have been placed till now with excellent packages. My experience in KIIT was good. It has very good infrastructure and provides good placement.

Placements: Placement wise, KIIT is very good. If your academic career is above 60% their is very high chance 95% that you will get placed. But most important thing if you want higher package above 3 lpa CTC. Your CGPA should be above 70%. For our batch, more than 100 companies visited our campus. Mass recruiter companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture and Infosys visited on day 1. They offered around 2000 offers. Many were luck to had more than few offers but few of them could not made it. But later, ma...

The Infrastructure is very good. We had hostel just besides the separate building of school of electronics. It saved a lot of time of travel. We were provided laptop books and all the amenities for the hefty fee we paid. I believe we got more than what we paid for. Oriya People are very sincere. Teachers were honest to their work. In this University you will have to attend classes or you will become defaulter and won’t be able to give final exam. There were pre-placement classes arranged for us....

The college has a nice cohesive environment and provides ample opportunities to find the inner passion within you. The college environment is helpful and peaceful, which supports the development of scientific, entrepreneurial and artistic development of a student and also helps in getting a good idea about how his/her future would be framed. The campus is huge and provides ample opportunities in terms of sports and co-curricular activities.

The college is good, but it needs a little improvement in the faculty. The hostel facilities are average, still the food needs a little improvement. The university is good for the overall development of the students. It can be recommended to others who are looking for their overall development.

The KIIT campus is big and beautiful. Infrastructure is better than other colleges. The environment of study is also good in this college. All the essential facilities are available in the campus. The faculty is also above average and always clears our doubts in respective subjects. The classrooms are very comfortable and spacious so that students can learn and study with full concentration. The hostels are well constructed and the rooms are good enough. The hostel mess provides breakfast, lunch...

This college has got a huge infrastructure with lots of facilities like, Student Activity Centre (SAC), multiple gyms, auditoriums, sports facilities and it also boasts a well-maintained cricket ground. Overall, the college is good when looked from outside but, when you are a part of it, you might come to know the various things about the college.

KIIT is a great place to be in. The infrastructure is brilliant. The support provided in terms of training and placement is commendable .The university is shifting a lot of things in the digital front. The standard of the students studying is not that great. There are not many passionate and ambitious people around, but then, there are clubs and societies which enable you to meet like-minded people. Mostly all the faculty members are from IIT's and NITs but they are not that influential teachers...

KIIT is a decent college. It does not get the limelight on the national level which it deserves. The placements are amazing. Although, the packages are not that great, but at least everyone gets a job. The university has all the resources one would need to excel but one needs to have the interest to use them. Most students at KIIT are job oriented and therefore, KIIT is not very research oriented, at least at the under graduation level.

This is one of my best choices I have made. The atmosphere is really great. You get a lot of scope in different fields to excel. The only negative point is that the administration is very uncooperative. For example, when a student needs to sign a form for a leave or so, he or she has to run from one person to another. And the worst part is that you hardly get to interact with the founder or any higher authority.

KIIT is no different in terms of faculty and teachers except few. Administration is certainly the worst aspect of KIIT. KIIT seriously needs to improve in this area of academic in order to compete with the likes of IIT’S/BITS/NIT. Hostel life is quite enjoyable but have lots of restrictions.

A college that provides everything like opportunities, exposure, academics, facilities and last but not the least great friends are also there. It is a melting point, wherever you belongs you will find KIIT not much different from your native place. KIIT is situated in a sprawling city Bhuvneshwar (which even got the highest rating in Smart cities mission). A city with good and friendly people is surely an added advantage of KIIT. Placements are the most popular aspect of KIIT. Lastly, it has a ...

Very organized and well-managed university, maintaining the quality of education, though highly populated. Departments are little separated from each other. Hostels are clean all the time. Campus is green and clean, whatever time or season of the year it is. Faculty Members are excellent and extend their support as and when required.

The major point of attraction for this college is its placement percentage. The college has managed to provide 100 percent placement to its students even during recession period of 2008 and 2013. The outstanding infrastructure facility is another eye candy which lures majority of students from northern and eastern part of India. With a 25 sqr. KIIT college of engineering has been ranked 5th amongst all National Level Self Financing Universities in India. It has a very good infrastructure and a fully Wi-Fi zone. The tutors are really good except some. The cons are you must think twice before choosing your branch because if you choose EEE like I did, then you will not able to sit in many IT companies as well as core. Computer science branch is a royal branch in KIIT for placement purpose. The order for branch selection must be CSE>ETC>I...
