Good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The merit students are given the best placements and then carried on by the above average and the average students, in short students are placed based on their capabilities and overall performance. There are international companies on board for placements. Surely go for kc college.
Infrastructure: We have smart classes as in classes having smart boards. The classes have air conditioners. The college even has a Wi-Fi facility though we aren't supposed to use our phones during lectures or on college premises. The college has a canteen which serves delicious foods. The college has an auditorium where ted x and various educational activities take place.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and helpful at the same time. The teaching quality is also good even though online lectures don't feel online and are more offline. Yea this course is relevant and very useful if you are doing CA it goes hand in hand.
Other: Everything is best with this course and the college.

It's quite a decent college with a high-style crowd coming into it.
Placements: Our college's students were placed at a rate of 60 to 70 per cent on average. The highest salary package offered from the Commerce stream was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package was most probably 3 LPA, and the average salary package was about 6 to 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies were mostly local CA firms, like Accenture, Deloitte, and others. The top roles were those of accountant, cost accountant, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of Kishinchand Chellaram College are quite okay. I won't say it is very good or too bad. The college has a well-maintained library, and there are 3 computer labs in the college. There isn't Wi-Fi available all over the campus, but it's there in the computer lab.
Faculty: The faculty members, including teachers and professors, are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them are very helpful, while some of them are stubborn and strict for no reason. The course curriculum is relevant but can't be said as industry-ready because this course is unchanged for the last decade. The curriculum is the same old one. The government should change the curriculum of the students.

It is the best place to grow in various dimensions of life.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 5.25 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Companies that came here were Morningstar, KPMG India, JP Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, Ernst & Young etc. Around 60% of students got internships at Zell Education, Internshala and Interntheory. Roles offered were audit analyst, financial analyst, research associate and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The college provides a wide range of facilities, including a library with all the books of various genres, and science labs. There is no need to visit Mumbai University labs for practicals. The classrooms are air-conditioned and properly ventilated. The college has its own canteen providing hygienic meals for students, ranging from Chinese to main course. The college provides first-aid medical facilities for all the students, and an ambulance is available to assist the same. Sports facilities include basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, tennis, table tennis and gymnastics.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are PhD holders and chartered accountants. The teaching quality is very much effective, and way above the par level. The course is relevant. I got placed in Deloitte, and BAF has helped me a lot to understand the basics of the job profile. Exams aren't difficult at all. If you attend at least 70% of classes. The passing percentage ranges from 95 to 99%.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted something which focuses more on accounting as it has practicals. The course should include more add-on short-term courses like financial modelling to make students more industry competent. The course has its own Zest committee, which can participate in other college fests. It organises its own fest named Joule. The campus offers a lot of opportunities to students, including fine arts to dance and singing.

Review of Kishinchand Chellaram College.
Placements: I am not aware of placements because the companies visited the campus was not much great and that too they did not offer a decent salary package and role in the organisation. The highest salary package offered was 4-6 LPA, and the students were asked to sign a bond for 2 years.
Infrastructure: I stayed in a private hostel as there was no college hostel. However, our college has a decent library but doesn't have a Wi-Fi facility. Our course was related to accounts and finance, so there was no need for labs. Classrooms infrastructure was good, and every classroom was equipped with projectors.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified. Colleges in Mumbai don't have mandatory attendance criteria, so students don't attend the college. The course curriculum was relevant, but it contains all theoretical knowledge, which doesn't help students to get into the industry instantly. Hence the college should provide more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge.

B.Com (A&F) in Kishinchand Chellaram College.
Placements: Deloitte had come for placements for my batch. Not many come for placements. They get you in touch with companies. The course gives full information about accounts and finance. There are not many placements however, college is reputed so you can try on your own.
Infrastructure: It has a single building. Campus is shared by HR college. It is vibrant all the time. The vibe is good. It had a very good crowd. The campus is small and always filled with people. The common campus between HR & KC makes you have more friends.
Faculty: The course was good. Faculty members are very warm. They have good knowledge. Course gives you a vast knowledge of accounting and finance. There is more of accounting. Good for people pursuing CA as many subjects are same as what they have in CA. Faculty members are good.

Q:   What is the latest cutoff information for admission to M.Sc at KC College, Mumbai?

A:

The official cut-off information for M.Sc. admissions at KC College, Mumbai for the 2024-2025 academic year isn't available yet. The college typically releases the cut-offs after the application process closes and the merit list is prepared.

Here's why the cut-offs aren't available yet:

  • Application Process: The application window for M.Sc. programs might still be open. Releasing cut-offs during this period can discourage applications from potentially qualified candidates.
  • Merit List Preparation: Once applications close, the college considers factors like entrance exam scores, past academic performance, and reservations to create a merit list. The cut-offs are then determined based on the ranks/scores in this list.

Here are some resources to help you stay updated on the cut-offs:

  • KC College Website: The official KC College website, particularly the admissions or M.Sc. programme section, is the most reliable source for the latest cut-off information. They might announce the cut-offs and the merit list there.
  • Contact the College: You can directly reach out to the KC College admissions office or the department offering your desired M.Sc. program. They can provide you with an estimated timeline for releasing the cut-offs.

Alternative Resources (to estimate potential cut-offs):

  • Previous Year's Cut-offs: While not a guarantee, some educational portals might list previous years' cut-offs for M.Sc. programs at KC College. This can give you a rough idea of the range.
  • Course Popularity: Consider the popularity of your chosen M.Sc. programme at KC College. More competitive programs might have higher cut-offs compared to less sought-after ones.

Remember: These are just resources for estimation. The actual cut-offs for the upcoming academic year will depend on the applicant pool's qualifications.

Stay informed by checking the KC College website or contacting them directly for the latest and most accurate cut-off information.
