If you want to enjoy the life joyfully, this is the best college in Cuddalore.
Placements: You can get placed in 2 or more companies but not in the core field. I'm a computer engineer but I got placed in an elevator door-making company with 1.12 lac per annum. In this college, the highest package offered on campus is 1.8 lac per annum. But most of the coming on-campus companies are in electrical and mechanical fields not in the IT field. And students are also not selected by just clearing aptitude exams and/or interviews, they get selected by HR's mindset. But everyone gets the job. Internships are not provided at this college but for getting an internship, if you have arrears or not, it doesn't matter, you would get a job afterwards.
Infrastructure: The hostel is neither too good nor too bad. It's mid-level. It has small rooms with no attached bathroom or toilets. A single bed is provided for a student. There is no Wi-Fi connection, however. The food is not provided in hot condition for boys as it's prepared in girls' hostel. Therefore, girls can have hot food. The condition of the gym is the worst. And ground facilities are available for games and also for having a walk. You can't go outside of the hostel without permission. If you want to go outside, VP, Principal, HOD, or hostel warden's signature is needed.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very knowledgeable persons in their respective fields. They are not so rude but are friendly. Exams are very easy if you utilise time and spend for study. In the external exams, the mark of 30/75 is the minimum pass mark.
Other: No functions or festivals are organised in this college. Only in the 4th year, an industry visit for 2 days is arranged. The campus is not crowded. Scholarships are available and if you get the top marks, you can get free books and discounts on fees. No extracurricular activities are conducted. Only NSS for 2 days without a certificate is provided. Only for Aug 15, march fasting practice of 2 days is conducted. Those who do march fasting can get one day of OD.
