Worth Pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Kunwar Satyavira College of Engineering and Management?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a balanced view:

    Pros:

    * Some faculty members are supportive and helpful.
    * A few teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable.
    * The college provides essential infrastructure for academic and residential needs.
    * The campus is located in the middle of the city, making connectivity easy.

    Cons:

    * Placement record is challenging, with around 40% of students finding employment.
    * Average package is relatively low (Rs. 2.5 LPA).
    * Industry connections and collaborations seem limited, leading to fewer internship opportunities.
    * Lab infrastructure is subpar, which affects hands-on learning.
    * Wi-Fi connectivity is slow and unreliable.
    * Limited recreational activities and fests.

    Reality Check:
It seems that the college's infrastructure and facilities require significant improvement. While some teachers are experienced and supportive, others may lack teaching skills and practical knowledge. Placement records indicate that the college faces challenges in placing students in reputed companies. However, students who have found employment reported being able to secure jobs on their own initiative.

Considering these factors, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Kunwar Satyavira College of Engineering and Management depends on individual priorities and circumstances. If you're looking for a strong industry network, internship opportunities, and state-of-the-art facilities, this might not be the best choice. On the other hand, if you're willing to take initiative and adapt to limitations, the college might still provide a decent education and exposure.

Remember, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision. Research thoroughly, consider multiple sources, and reach out to current students or recent alumni for a more nuanced understanding of the college's strengths and weaknesses.

Our college had good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements were very good on campus. Many companies visited our college for hiring students. Many were placed with salary packages of above 5 LPA. Students who study here were capable to build their future in the right way so I will recommend this college on the basis of placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was excellent. The environment was very good. There was a big playground for sports activities and a huge auditorium for cultural activities. Every type of lab was available here. It was very good for students who look for engineering.
Faculty: In our college, teachers were very helpful. They provide you with very informative knowledge for exams and show you the right path to success. Our course was relevant and it made students industry-ready for the future. Semester exams were not tough for those who study well.

Our college offers golden campus life.
Placements: There were only 2-3 companies that came to our college for placement, and also, those companies were not genuine, as they were asking for money to get the job. There were no internships our batch got at that time as our college had no tie-ups with any company for good future knowledge for me and my fellow batch mates. I was disappointed with our college's behaviour.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college were just below average. There is no Wi-Fi on our campus, and not even in our hostels is any kind of internet facility. We had so very difficult for students to do any kind of research or online study. The labs were quite old and the equipment was not working very properly. We just went to labs for preparing practical files, but no practical knowledge we had.
Faculty: A few teachers were good in our batch, but a few were just below the average as they did not have proper teaching skills and practical knowledge either. Our course curriculum was quite outdated according to the needs of that time, and that course did not help me in any industry to get a job, so I suffered a lot after college. The level of semester exams was moderate to high in our time, and 30% was the pass percentage in my time.
Other: I only had one festival in my four years of experience because my college administration neglected extracurricular activities. Our campus is in the middle of the city, so connectivity with the market of any kind was not far, but the surroundings for living were just average. Honestly, I chose the course according to what my parents said, but after taking admission.  I knew about the dark side of the course, but it was too late, so I could not do anything to improve it. I will suggest my fellows choose their course wisely by collecting all the necessary information.

Balancing support and potential : A critical review of academic journey at KSVCEM.
Placements: The placements were challenging. Approximately 40% students from our course were placed. The average package is 2.5 LPA. Placements were not very competitive. Many students opted to explore opportunities outside of the campus placements.
Infrastructure: At KSVCEM, infra for my course and department offered a mix of strength and areas for improvement, while campus provided adequate classrooms for lectures. The quality in terms of labs and Wi-Fi accessibility fell short of expectations. In summary, KSVCEM provided essential infra for academic and residential needs. There were areas such as lab and Wi-Fi accessibility that required improvement for better experience for students.
Faculty: Overall, faculty were supportive and teaching quality varied. The curriculum could benefit from more industry update to better equip students with practical skills. The semester exams' were manageable with sufficient preparation. Ongoing improvements in curriculum and teaching methodologies could further enhance the educational experience.

There is no Wi-Fi facility even in our hostels, so we face difficultly in doing any kind of research and online study. Labs have quite old equipment, and those equipment is not working too properly. We just went to labs to prepare practical files but not to get practical knowledge. There is a canteen in the college just for the namesake as that canteen was almost closed most of the time, and we have to go outside in break time to eat something. Our college does not provide medical facilities for any injury or health problems for students.
Faculty: Few teachers were good in our batch, but few were just below the average as they did not have proper teaching skills and practical knowledge. There are no on-campus placements, and the teachers are poor.
Placements: Only 2 out of 43 students from my batch are placed so far thriugh off-campus placements. Because both got jobs on their own, the packages are not relevant as the college has zero involvement in their placements. There is no placement in our college. They just call one or two startups that want to exploit freshers. They just blame students for not getting off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is slower than 150kbps, not useable. Classrooms are not that poor, but the chairs are not in good condition. The hostel is okay, but the food quality isn't that good. The canteen is the worst. Medical facilities aren't available, and they don't let students play games. Campus life is bad as there are many restrictions.
Faculty: Everyone knows that getting a degree isn't hard nowadays, but M.Tech qualified teachers are not much knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is the worst. The college management doesn't spend money on quality teachers, so they get very poor teachers. They give a salary of below 20,000 to them, so it's obvious. The curriculum is not bad as the AKTU curriculum isn't bad. But the quality of knowledge of 90% pass outs is below average because of poor teachers, and they don't teach practical knowledge in labs. Computer labs are just a room filled with broken computers.
Other: I chose this course to get into B.Tech and prepare for M.Tech, but my dream is shattered now as I am 2021 passed out without a job, and there is no hope for GATE exam.

I am satisfied because of the good faculty members.
Placements: There are above 60% of the student in our course, and I am a 3rd-year student. Top recruiting companies in our college are TCS, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are average in this college. Wi-Fi, labs and a library are available. I am a local student, so I didn't opt for the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The pass percentage in our college is approximately 65%.
