The best college to enrich your knowledge with other extra curricular activities.

Placements: The placements at Lady Doak College are fairly good. Usually, 20 to 30 companies visit or call for the interview between October and March. Companies like Honeywell, HCL, Infosys also come for the placements. My friends have also been placed in these companies with a good salary package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good with Leads in almost every classes. The campus is covered with greenery. We have free Wi-Fi connectivity for the students. We have the hostel facilities for both students as well as the faculty. The college has an air-conditioned computer lab for the students. The library has many books apart from the academic ones. The library encourages the students to prepare for UPSC exam and other government exams. The college has a clinic in case of any sickness. Various games are encouraged by the college. There are 2 canteens and a fruit juice point for the students. The college encourages entrepreneurship skills of the students. Hence, we have an Entrepreneurship Development Cell in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are easily approachable and friendly. The teaching quality is good. They give practical assignments to the students and activities to make them understand easily. The teachers use the techniques like seminars, self-learning, assignments, Group Discussions, case studies to enrich the knowledge of the students.

Other: Our college students study in other countries as part of the Student Exchange programme. The faculty from other countries visit the college. Our college encourages sports along with education. The college conducts various events to reveal the talent of the students.

In 2015, the placements are good. Satisfied with the staff and the facilities provided to us.

Placements: This year, only HCL and Wipro visited our campus. The lowest salary was 2.45 lakhs per annum. From our department, a total of 35% of the students got placed. The BSC graduates were offered the role as a programmer trainee and a system engineer trainee. The placements are less compared to the previous years.

Infrastructure: There are no infrastructure issues. The Wi-Fi facility was not available for the day-scholars. The classrooms and the library were well-maintained by the college. We had a dormitory, where the doctors were available. In the canteen, we had lots of varieties like chats, biryani, and fried rice. The hostel rooms were good, but the students face water scarcity problem during summers.

Faculty: The faculty members were knowledgeable, friendly, easily approachable. They were well-prepared for the classes. We had group discussions, PPT presentations, seminar classes for better understanding. The student to faculty ratio is 24:1. There is a special training session about android developing tools where we can get to learn about real life android applications. The course was useful.

Other: We had lots of other learnings in our college apart from the education. We were made to be part of NCC or NSS or RBC during every year of our college life. We also had extra training like fabric painting, embroidery, clay art, paper quilling classes to improve our hobby.
