Pros:

* Relevant course curriculum that prepares students for industry requirements
* Placements are relatively good, with many students placed in top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro

* Availability of internship opportunities

Cons:

Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.E. / B.Tech students at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Indore?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Placement Cell Success Rate

According to the reviews from students and alumni, the placement cell at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Indore is relatively successful in securing jobs for B.E./B.Tech students. Here are some key points:

* At least 70% of students are placed, with top companies like TCS and Wipro participating in the recruitment process.
* The average salary package offered to students is around INR9 LPA, while the lowest package is around INR2.5 LPA.
* The placement cell helps students prepare for placements, making them industry-ready.
* Any branch student can take part in the placement test, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

However, it's essential to note that students have to participate in off-campus drives, and there is no company that comes to the college campus for recruitment. Additionally, the maximum package offered in previous years was INR3 LPA.

The worst college, most of it is a waste of money, with no placements.
Placements: Placements are very low. The highest package was 3.6 LPA and the lowest was 1.8 LPA, and there was almost no support from the college placement cell. Most of the professors were also carefree and didn't put too much effort into teaching the students. Placements were the worst, and I have never seen worse placements than here.
Infrastructure: The building is too old with almost no amenities, and there is no maintenance of things. There were projectors, but they did not work, and the floors were broken. There is always some construction going on in the campus. Parking was not proper, and the canteen was sometimes open and mostly closed, and didn’t offer any good food.
Faculty: The faculty didn’t care to teach the students and always did time in their sessions. Some were helpful, while some just recited the notes they made a decade ago and didn’t care to explain. There was no focus on overall development, and there were no cultural activities.
Other: I liked computers and the creation and building of software and apps, so I took the course. The course was decent, but it would have been better if the course had taken a more practical approach to teaching and making students build real-life projects and working projects. Cultural activities were very low, and the fest was decent, but the DJ could have been better.

Choosing LNCT College for my education has been a decision I regret.
Placements: I'm quite disappointed with my college experience. It can be frustrating when expectations aren't met. As a final-year student at LNCT College, I would like to share my thoughts on the good and bad aspects of my college, as well as the admission process and criteria.
Infrastructure: The college lacks basic facilities. There are no adequate resources to support students' academic and extracurricular activities. The management of the college is very poor. There is a lack of organization and efficiency in handling student affairs. No Wi-Fi, poor labs, average classrooms—everything is disappointing. No canteen is there; I don't know about medical facilities; there are no sports.
Faculty: Half of the faculty changes every semester. We all know about India's engineering curriculum. Semester exams are quite good but the problem is who checks the answer sheet. It all depends on the checker, how will he/she check the answer sheet. A maximum of 20–30 percent of students could pass on the first attempt. I don't know if this happens only at our college or at any other college.
Other: When I got admission to this college, there was a very high demand for engineers in industry. There are no sports activities or events organized by the college. This severely limits the overall development and engagement of students.

I really like the college.
Placements: Good placements with good packages offered by companies. The college also supports students and provides classes on placement interviews. Our LNCT Group also provides internship opportunities in various companies. Experienced teachers are available to guide us in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, with historical buildings and various facilities, such as large smartboard classrooms, big practical labs with equipment in working condition, and multiple floors with proper ventilation. I really like the infrastructure of this college.
Faculty: LNCT Group of Colleges provides the best faculty with good communication skills. They address every query of students and have supportive staff. Exams are also conducted on time, and the syllabus is simple and easy. They also provide multiple options to gain marks.

Review of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Indore.
Placements: About 50% to 60% of students were placed. The minimum salary package was 1.5 LPA, and the maximum was 4 LPA. Companies from Indore came here for mechanical students. Companies like Tech Mahindra, HP, HCL, etc. from other places like Pune came for IT students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Hostel facilities were not good. The hostel building was old. No students lived there. There was no canteen. Sports and games facilities were good. Our college participated in inter-college competitions.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality was very good. They supported us in searching for jobs. All teachers guide students in making cars and other things.

LNCT Indore-please don't take admission here.
Placements: The placement at this college is an absolute disaster. The career services team is unresponsive and unhelpful, and there are hardly any companies that come to the campus for recruitment. Even the few companies that do come have unrealistic expectations and demand experience that most students simply do not have. The college claims to have the good placements record, but that is a complete lie. Most students end up jobless or underemployed after graduation and the ones who do get jobs usually have to settle for low paying and low level positions. The college is a complete waste of time and money when it comes to placement. If you are looking for a college that can help you kick start your career this id definitely not that place to go.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course and hostel at this college is a complete disaster. The classrooms are old and dilapidated with broken chairs and desks and the audio visual equipment is ancient and barely functional. The labs are poorly maintained and the equipment is outdated and inadequate. The hostel is even worse. The rooms are tiny and cramped with no ventilation and the bathrooms are filthy and infested with bugs. The food in the mess is tasteless and unhygienic and there is no variety in the menu. The college administration is completely indifferent to the plight of the students and the complaints and the complaints and the grievances of the student go unheard. The college fees are exorbitant and the facilities are nonexistent. In short if you are looking for a college with good infrastructure this is definitely not the place to go. The college is a complete waste of time and money and you will regret your decision if you choose to study here.
Faculty: The faculty curriculum and exam system at this college are a complete joke. The faculty members are incompetent and have no idea what they are teaching. They simply read from outdated textbooks and have no interest in engaging with the students or addressing their doubt. The curriculum is outdated and irrelevant and there is no focus on practical skills or industry exposure. The exams are a mere formality with no emphasis on critical thinking or problem solving skills.
Other: I chose the course because I like computer science but the course was not very good, they are very repetitive and not changed by rgpv. In college no fest were organised, no campus life and college life.

I am not satisfied because of many reasons and the average placements in 2022.
Placements: In our college, around 30% of students are placed in MNCs. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, and many more MNCs visit our campus. A maximum of one student gets a free online internship, and if they want an offline internship, they must pay for it. The top role offered is the developer.
Infrastructure: The college provides average facilities, such as Wi-Fi in the library, but only to college teachers. Our classrooms are average, but the library is the best in our college. Our college canteen facility is not available.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. Some teachers who teach us are not from the CS branch. They are from the EC branch which caused us a lot of problems.
Other: I chose the CS branch because I am interested in coding. There are some events like Ganesh Chaturthi or a Garba-like event organised in our college. Otherwise, there are no other extracurricular activities done by our college.
