PCE, placed at police Nagar Hingna road is one of the pioneering Institute under Nagpur University, with good teaching facilities as well as very good infrastructure. Its eye-catching Rajiv Gandhi IT complex is a dream of any engineering student to get admission in this college. Also, this college has a very good reputation in sports. Swimming facility is also available here. If anyone searching for a perfect bliss beside studies I will recommend it's the one. No need to search for other option....
College has a huge campus, IT building is the landmark in itself in the campus. Faculty members in first year department was very good in my batch. In computer technology department, faculty members of subjects DBMS and TOC was good but the industry exposure was to the minimal. Placement for 2007-11 batch was outstanding, Infosys was on the day zero slot and has taken a record number of students. Accenture was the next big on the campus, recruited more than 100 on the Day 1 slot.
PCE always is one of the best college of Nagpur when it comes to infrastructure and campus area. However, its faculty is new and inexperienced but still environment around is just awesome. College organizes lots of activities for the students who are a lot from various parts of India.
Priyadarshini College of Engineering as we know PCE. Each guy takes an admission to see its architecture. The campus Facilities is too bad as compared to Raisoni, Ramdeo and Yashwant Engineering colleges in Nagpur. They all are doing business and not teaching Engineers.
My college is one of the best college in Nagpur. But it is far more good for fun and for studying is too hard because RTMNU UNIVERSITY is just a mess. It is the worst university in India. In this university, only student who are good in studies can survive. So if you are opting to take admission in my college it is good but think twice before you take admission. This college is getting deteriorated day by day. The campus placement record is not good at all. Except few faculty members rest are nowhere good. The university is offering the syllabus which is outdated. Only infrastructure is good. Students who join this college are not even fit for technical education. College environment is also not good.
College is full of outsiders. 40% biharis, 30 % bengalis, 10 % north east Indians. Only remaining 20% are locals. Donation is must for non CAP candidates. College still gives you an edge as faculty and practical labs are fully equipped with but only if u show your interest. Nagpur university adds more bitter taste to education. Take admission only if u want full internals but no knowledge, no personality development at all. Worst of all, most students become pure rattu in this college.
Placements: Less than 10% of students got placed with an average salary package of 2.4 LPA that too not in aviation companies. None of the students from our batch got an internship offer. The only company which has come to college for recruiting students was Hi-Tech.
Placements: In our college the percentage of recruitment is very low as compared to totally strength. The companies visited our college was mostly offering BPO jobs. There was no company visited. Our college is offering jobs only for electronics and telecommunication students. IT and CTec students get recruitment mostly in multinational companies.
Placements: I think 5% of the students got placed in the whole 2019 batch on the college campus. In off-campus, 25% of the students got placed until now. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA in our college campus placements. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Persistent, Byju's, LNT, Global Logic, Amazon, etc. Some companies are call centers, and some are development companies that hire students. Placements: None of the students got placement for our batch and senior batch. Our college does not provide placements and internship. There is a placement cell, and it is useless. Only IT sector students get placement here.
