Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Maha Barathi Engineering College is a really good engineering college.

Placements: Maha Barathi Engineering College placement records are good every year. 95% of students from the 2021 passed-out batch were placed. More than 15 companies, like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, Accenture, Wipro, and Amazon, visit this college campus for interviews. The highest salary package is INR 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package is INR 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Maha Barathi Engineering College infrastructure facilities are very nice. More spacious classrooms and hi-tech laboratories facilities are available in this college. This college has well-stocked library facilities. This college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel food and quality are also very good. Some limited sports grounds facilities are only available here in this college.
