Candidates have to pass diploma exam from any government recognized board.
Candidate who have completed Engineering Diploma in relevant stream from a recognized board with minimum 50% average marks in fifth & sixth semesters combined, are eligibile to apply (45% for backward class, 40% for most backward class, 40% for SC/ST) .
Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination within two attempts.
