There were no placements in our college, and companies didn't visit here for the last many years.

I am not satisfied with its placements.
Placements: Almost 2-3% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. Only 1-2% of students got internships in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is available, and the laboratory is average. Our classrooms are better. The canteen facility is not good. Games and sports are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Our course curriculum is not good. This college does not provide the necessary practical skills for industry-ready. Semester exams are average but the checking is not good.

I was completely satisfied studying in Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements of MBSCET were good but not great as they mentioned but students with high technical skills and knowledge could easily get placements. The highest salary package offered was between 5 LPA to 12 LPA. HCL was the top recruiting company. The top role offered was working as employee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was remarkable. There were labs, lecture halls, different workshops, a huge library, Wi-Fi for students, two canteens, and a huge parking space. Hostels were huge and tidy. There were no Wi-Fi connections in hostels. Messes were average. There were no medical facilities available in the college. Game and sports events only occur when there was a fest.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were highly qualified. They always helped students to overcome their weaknesses. They also help you to build your confidence and always motivate you. Semester exams were average and were not too difficult. The passing percentage was 40% and above.
Other: I chose the electronics and communication engineering course because of its demand. ECE engineers could fit into any stream. They can choose their field of interest. They can code and make their career in the IT sector. The syllabus of ECE was broad and flexible.

Truly satisfied and worth the money and hassle.
Placements: So, starting with 50 percent of the students were placed from our passing out batch in the Computer Science Dept. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, RVS, I global, CREDERA SHEMON, Software Solutions, Tata communication, etc. apart from these students, also got placed off campus in top companies like Google, Microsoft, QUALCOM, etc. Top roles offered for CSE were software developer, data analyst, and full-stack web developer. The highest package was around 10 to 12 lacs pa and the lowest package was 3 to 3.5 lacs pa, whereas the average package was 5-6 lacs pa. Around 20 percent of the students got internship in companies mentioned above.
Infrastructure: Well, the facilities for our college and infrastructure for our course are between average and high. By this, I mean we got pretty good facilities for academic and extracurricular activities, where as for infrastructure like classrooms, labs and libraries, it's quite remarkable. We have a WiFi facility 24/7. For hostels, I can't say much because most of the college has day scholars and the rest have their own PGs.
Faculty: This is one of the amazing parts of our college. The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, because even if our college compromises in extracurricular activities, it would never restrain in terms of academics. It is the No. 1 priority for them. The teaching quality and the capability of teachers to hold and withstand with students poor in academics are truly remarkable. The course curriculum is 90% relevant to what is required in the industry. Well, the college is directly affiliated with the University of Jammu so the semester exams are at the university level and competition has increased. The pass percentage is almost around the minimum of 40% in university exams.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The quality of placements is good. Every year, 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. The placement process is pleasant, and the management is supportive. Every year, many of them got placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary equipment and infrastructure. We have Wi-Fi, and each class has access points. So, we get internet every time. We have good sports, and the hostel is good, with good premises and food. The food is hygienic, and the living spaces are clean and tidy.
Faculty: I'm studying mechanical engineering. The quality of teaching is good. Our faculty learn everything before teaching in our class. The curriculum is updated. It makes students industry-ready. It helps the students to build a good future.

It is not much good college but still it is far better than others.
Placements: Students were willing more, but the opportunities were too low. There was approximately one job for 200 students. Even the opportunities provided were not good. The working conditions were awful. If one decides to opt for this institution, never expect an on-campus placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. But it is only up to first two or three-semesters. It is a sheer eyewash to the parents. No doubt the institution has machinery and all in workshops and laboratories, yet they never worked. Initially, the institution was so overwhelming and good, but all the drawbacks came as setbacks as time passed.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. But those helping hands are limited in the institutions. In a class, most of the times, it is a student clearing doubts of a teacher rather than a teacher doing his job. Relevance in a course in hard to find, and sometimes even the logic.

Absolute value for money.
Placements: About 50% placements are done. About 2-3 LPA is the average package. The companies that come for placement drive are Griffeo, GreyOrange and various joint-college placement. The top roles are basically Trainee, Junior Software developer and some marketing one too. Overall average in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. Library is well- furnished. Labs are well- designed. Canteen facility is also available. Sports equipments are available but sports are not that regular. Course infrastructure is good. Proper technology is an added bonus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They help with doubts and all career-related stuff. The course is somewhat relevant for a good foundation but not with industry perspective. Attendance and internal assessment take more concern than usual.
Other: Information technology is leading nowadays. Moreover, it is the tech era. I think more internships should be introduced and also various extra curricular activities should be introduced.
