My overall experience here is good. The infrastructure is good, but the cafeteria is very bad.
Placements: Around 20% of the students from our batch got placed until now. Here you can't expect high salary packages, and mostly, our college offered walk-in interviews. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Many companies visit here for placements, but they aren't MNCs. Only a few students from our course got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good, including a library, laboratory and classrooms. But there is no open Wi-Fi facility for students, and you have to go to computer labs for any internet use. It is very inconvenient. I heard about the hostel facilities from my friends that they are well cleaned, but the food served is not that much good. There are no sports facilities for girls, and the administration needs to upgrade this.
Faculty: Professors and teaching staff members are very good in our college. The teaching is excellent here, and teachers are friendly as well. You can consult them whenever you face any sort of problem. This course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. They need to focus more on providing practical knowledge.

If I could turn back time, I would never have taken admission in this college.
Placements: Negligible placements were present. Some people of our batch went to Amritsar for placement in Boo sector. The graduates usually opt preparing for government exams (bank) as there are no options left. There is no effort to call companies for placements.
Infrastructure: Medical facilities, sports and games are in very bad condition. The playroom has to table made up of wood. The pool table is torn and there is no access for carrom table. The play field has excessive grass plus the discipline is so strong that you rarely get a chance to play. Wi-Fi is available. All the labs have sufficient machinery but maximum of them do not work. The machinery is only for show purpose. We rarely observed any experiments in labs except for 1st semester. In many semesters, the we didn't even perform any experiments. The focus is on completing the labs file on time and submitting the assignments. The assignments for each subjects are mere slaves of copy paste.
Faculty: Except for 2-3 teachers, None of the teachers seemed qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers did not focus on learning but on preparing us for semester exams. The staff present there is commonly selected by reference and not by qualification. The professors are grilled o ly on discipline and to ensure there is no noise coming out of the class. No industry exposure is provided and a graduate does not of sufficient knowledge to be classified as an engineer.
Other: The fest happens around the year end. If you have made the professors happy by constantly trying to please them, they will give you responsibility to manage the festival. The other way around to gain managerial position is by being a goon or by reference. They do not even consider students talent. For performance, usually professionals from outside are called to organize dance and skit performances which makes the festival a mere showoff. Rarely there is an interactive session between juniors and seniors. Scholarships are as per central government. Policy or given to people who have reference from the class that controls the college. No scholarships are given to toppers. Campus surroundings are communal and there is no talks on productive topics. The management itself forces the girls to wear only Alwar kameez and sends the girls back home If they wear jeans. You are in danger if you even try flirting with girls of another community except of you are a goon or belonging to the majority in college. Some of the goons in college openly pass jibes at girls and stalk as well as Eve tease them. Girls keep it to themselves to prevent any problems they may face from home. No extracurricular activities. If you propose one, you are subjected to humiliation of not concentrating on the studies. Rotten methods of teaching and learning. The clerical staff treats students like untouchables. The P. A to principle treats you with utter disrespect and looks down to you. The professors constantly tell you that if you would have studied, you would have been in a nicer college.

I'm satisfied with the college in accordance with a standard of Jammu.
Placements: In my first year, a good amount of students got placed in some reputed companies. Two students even got placed in Amazon. In my second year, most of the students got placed. The college in addition to internal placement took the students for placement fairs also, but only the students, who were willing and dedicated.
Infrastructure: If there is any best college in accordance with academics, it's MBSCET. The college has the best labs and good teachers. The point to be noted is that the labs are good that till 2010, GCET and MIET used to do their workshops here. The library is available with a good amount of books.
Faculty: The teachers are most helpful. Every teacher is willing to give their best. The teachers keep on insisting students ask questions. The teachers in addition to having good qualification have a good experience also. The teachers attend the class regularly, and they take proper care of each student.
Other: There is a fest on the campus. The campus is big, so it doesn't seem the crowd over there.

No freedom no enjoyment, It's like a school.
Placements: 5-10% of students are placed & they got salary 15-20,000/-. Only 2 or 3 companies visit our campus. The student got role of software developer or related to their field. But not good placement drive in our college. There is placement cell but no companies are visited to choose students for job.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi provided, only we pay charges of Wi-Fi. Classroom is okay. Library in our college is good. Food is good in our canteen. There is no medical facilities provided in our college. No sports in our college. No games in college. No experienced staff.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful & some teachers are corrupt. The staff in our college is qualified & have good knowledge. The teaching quality is not good. No teaching methods are used only take the question and write the solution on board that's it. No we didn't get industry exposure.
Other: Fest is in our college in summer season.
