Is Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) good for B.A.?

Here's what current students and alumni have to say:

    * Course curriculum: While some students appreciate the relevance of the curriculum, others find it "basic" and not industry-ready.
    * Teaching quality: Faculty members are considered knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable. They're willing to clarify doubts and provide additional guidance.
    * Placement scenario: Placements aren't particularly strong, with most companies offering sales jobs with lower salaries. It's recommended to explore external opportunities alongside attending campus drives.
    * Campus life: MAIMS provides a good campus experience, with various events, clubs, and societies catering to diverse interests.
    * Infrastructure: The college boasts modern classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities, making it a pleasant learning environment.
    * Economics focus: For those interested in economics, MAIMS seems to deliver, with opportunities to engage with the subject through coursework and extracurricular activities.

In summary, while MAIMS may not excel in terms of placement opportunities, its strengths lie in its academic offerings, supportive faculty, and vibrant campus culture. However, it's essential for aspiring students to weigh these factors against their individual priorities and career aspirations before making an informed decision.

College has good infrastructure and great clubs.
Placements: Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. It helps students but we can be fully dependent on the institute for placements. So, students need to apply for off-campus placements also. But the college has started offering more placement opportunities as compared to the previous batch and in the future, it will be great in these terms.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MAIMS is good. There is AC in every classroom along with proper lighting so that students can concentrate on the lectures completely. Two libraries provide us with a book bank for the full course till graduation. We can sit in the library to study for as long as we want, and it is also well-structured.
Faculty: The faculty of the Economics department is experienced and knowledgeable. Faculty members also help us in solving any kind of doubts, whether they are related to academics, personal life, or career. Admission for this course was made through the seat allotment system of IPU CET and according to the rank, the institute is allotted.

    Good college with amazing infrastructure.
Placements: The placement score of the college was about 65-70% that year, which was a good score. The highest salary offered that year was 8 lakhs, and the lowest salary offered was 2 lakhs. The college even gets placement from the NBA bank.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, and the facilities are well maintained. The classrooms, ground, labs, and library are all air-conditioned. The college also provides hostel facilities with Wi-Fi, a gym, and good-quality food.
Faculty: The facilities and staff are very collaborative and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and help students with extracurricular activities. The coursework is challenging, but fair. Exams are given each semester and midterm. The pass rate for students is typically between 85% and 95%.
Other: College is amazing and I enjoyed those days so much.

    Best college in IP University.
Placements: More than sixty percent of the students are placed in my course. The highest package is about 5 lakhs, the lowest is about 1 lakh, and the average is about 2 lakhs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc. More than eight percent of the students got internships in average companies.
Infrastructure: We have good central AC classrooms with Wi-Fi and all other basic amenities. We have a very good library with many books. The food available in our hostel and canteen is very good and is prepared under very hygienic conditions. Medical facilities and sports are also good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderate level. The majority of the students pass.
Other: I chose this course because there is great scope due to the increasing demand for data and the study of data. According to me, if there were practical projects available for the students, there would be a better understanding for them.

Overall a worth taking admission college.
Placements: 60-65% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 5.7 Lacs per annum, the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum, and the average package is around 3.4 Lacs per annum. Top roles like data analyst are offered, and companies such as Federal Bank Ltd. are recruiting.
Infrastructure: The campus of the college is very good, with excellent infrastructure. However, the elevators are always busy, creating a lot of mess. The campus has canteens and security, is very clean, and features a basketball ground and badminton court.
Faculty: Classes are held regularly (except on weekends). The teachers are very helpful, providing full guidance and support to the students. They focus on thoroughly clearing concepts and giving practical knowledge. The semester exams so far have not been very difficult; with decent practice, they can be easily passed with good marks.
Other: The course is very good, and the subjects are interesting. The teaching skills of the teachers make learning enjoyable and worthwhile. The crowd at the college is supportive, and there are many societies to join based on student interests, which enriches extracurricular activities.
