The college has extremely good placements and provides a good environment for development.
Placements: The placements at our college are excellent. Almost every student gets placed. Statistically, a total of 95% of our students get placed in top-class merchant companies. The placement department works extremely hard to bring in more opportunities for the cadets.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is on the next level and is best suited for one's overall development and career-related aspects. The course offers intellectual sessions with the Masters of the Sea, which brings in more experience and knowledge of the career. The hostel also provides various perks and is in fairly good condition.
Faculty: The faculty are very friendly. They were easily reachable and willing to help resolve any academic or personal problems that arose. The curriculum provided a well-rounded education, and there were a total of six semesters, each with two exams: a midterm and a final.
Other: I would say that overall this college is excellent, especially if one really wants to pursue a career in the merchant navy.

Life at MANET ( Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training ).
Placements: Placement is very good in MANET. Everyone gets placed; the only thing that matters is to clear all your exams on time. Follow all the rules and be disciplined. You will be placed as soon as possible. The passing percentage is 60%. And you have to maintain 90 percent attendance to appear for exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. A hostel has all the basic amenities that are necessary for an individual. A very neat and clean hostel and academic building are there. Wi-Fi is provided, among many other things. You can enjoy life at MANET with the academy style and their ways.
Faculty: We have all reputed and excellent captains on campus. They have very good sailing experience and from there experience we used to learn many more things. They have sailed half of their life span. They are supportive and always ready for help.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent. All the facilities including classrooms, library, laundry, mess are excellent. Good management system. Good service. Excellent sport facilities including a huge size football ground, cricket ground, Olympic size swimming pool etc.

It is a good college for B.Sc. in Nautical Science.
Placements: If you are in the top 40 cadets list, placement is confirmed. Top recruiting companies are Maersk, BW Shipping, MOLTA, etc. The salary of each student depends on the company. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 70,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good compared to other colleges. Our college provides us with all facilities. Labs have all the equipment. They provide games facilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. The food facilities are good.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-experienced and good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult if you study for around 1-2 hours every day. The course curriculum is based on the IMU syllabus.

It is absolutely amazing, full of know and fun, and experienced.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed, the highest package is 10.8 Lacs and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs. Many companies visit but top recruiters are mearsk, molme ships, tapti etc. About internship I don't know much. Top roles are master/captain but you start with deck cadet and after giving certain exams you get promotions.
Infrastructure: Wifis are super fast and available 24/7 and library is full of informative book regarding to course and other subject as well, classrooms are well cleaned and spaced, labs have every equipment available which is needed. They teach us how to do parade because parade is the symbol of discipline and we have so many sports and events to participate in and win.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and know very much because they are experienced. They are very good and friendly. Yes. Semester exams are quite difficult because they want us to perform the best and gain as much knowledge as we can.
Other: If found this course quite amazing and the lifestyle it gives you is very much attractive and lavish. with all this it also gives you respect and values. There are many cultural events which are fun to take part in. My course is perfect and I don't wish to do change anything.

B.Tech. in Marine Engineering - Batch of 2023

I recommended that students join MANET.
Placements: Our college has few placements. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. It is not in the top 5 institutes in India. I would recommend finding some other college to join the merchant navy, like Tolani, Anglo-Eastern, IMU, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Our classrooms and labs are good. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus or in the hostel. There are barricades outside the hostel, so cadets can not go outside the campus to visit someone. A marine college is different from other colleges, but there must be freedom for cadets. There is a hostel for boys and girls. Girls have to enter from another door and are completely detached. The hostel wardens are very supportive.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. There are very few admissions in MANET, with about 10 to 15 students in 2023. Therefore, they are trying to fail students and make them repeat their semesters to gain funds for running the college. In 2020, there was a batch of B.Sc. in nautical science students. They are currently in their 3rd and final year. Their first-year results were declared in February 2023, and almost 50% of students failed their exams. Now, the college is trying to make them repeat this particular semester. Our teachers change according to their moods.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue something extraordinary and enjoy life. MANET is not the right college to do that. The thing I wish was better is the standard of living in the hostel. Our teachers should be more concerned about the student's future than how to extract more funds from him and ruin his career by demoting him. They are very particular about the rules, but these rules change according to their wishes. A 6-month semester can be shortened to a 2-month semester to save time, but the suspension valid for a 6-month semester is the same as for a 2-month semester. Our college has an excellent campus. Events are organised well. The campus crowd is good. Around 80% of students want Jadhav sir to be removed from this position. There was a big situation that occurred inside the hostel, which can prove how badly students want him to leave.
