The overall experience is good except placements.

Placements: The placements are not good in this college. Most of the companies visited the campus in the year 2008-2012, but from the last five years, only TCS and some BPO companies visiting the campus for placements. Now only 10-15% of the students were placed. TCS and Apollo are the only companies that visited in the year 2016. Only IT jobs are offered. The placements are not good compared to other private colleges.

It's good as per as education system is a concern, but the placement needs to improve.

Placements: In the last few years, the placement is a bit moderate but not extremely well. However, it's a problem for all the other private engineering colleges. The salary is not high at all, and the minimum salary is Rs. 7,000 per month and maximum is Rs. 15,000 per month. There is a placement cell, and it works regularly. Not all the companies visit the campus. The companies that visit are not well-known, but some are known. I don't know about the role they offer to the students.

Overall, the college is good for the students future.

Placements: Last year, in this college, the placements were good for a senior batch. I think 45 percent of the students were placed in the last year. The lowest, average and the highest salary package offered by the companies are between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month. The companies like Dell, Tata, etc., visited the campus last year.

Overall, the college is good for engineers.

Placements: The college has few placement companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Every department is quite good in their placement for the students. The selected candidates are posted in Pune, Bangalore and many others location through campusing. Sigma, Larsen and Turbo, etc. are the core placement company of the mechanical department.

The college is neither good nor bad.

Placements: The placements are very bad, as some fake companies came in our time. They also demand money from us. Sometimes, you go to join a company but found the wrong address. Only TCS placement is real. There are no campus placements for mechanical and electrical students. The salaries are low. BPO also comes to the campus. Only, 10 students among us in our batch in ECE got placement via campus placements.

A college with no base, no strategy, and dismal placements.

Placements: When it comes to the placements, our college does not think of giving placements to its students. In the last few years, the only reputed company that visited our college was TCS. The overall placements are less than 2% which is a very poor placement record in the recent years. The college does not make arrangements for internships as well. The salary statistics are not worth mentioning since TCS was the only recruiting company which offered 3.34 LPA.

Good technical college with laboratory facilities. Best infrastructure and best campus. Library is good and affordable. Hostel facilities also good for staying. Good professor with reach experience to guide in a proper way. Canteen also well. Well known facility of indoor and outdoor game. A big ground for playing outdoor game. Modern facility of gaming.

Communication-wise the college is just fair enough for budding engineers. Infrastructure wise there were bottlenecks during our time. There are no book banks, and there is a 12 seater single bus for 300 odd students. In addition, there is no medical facility for a college situated virtually inside a forest. So, naturally, we protested and got these facilities back. Hostel and sports were an enjoyable affair in the college, although the college canteen was far from satisfactory. The faculty was t...

Very good campus for studying the entire course. Faculty members are helpful. College campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The best part is the hostel. We enjoyed it very much. Play ground is very big in size. Best department is Mechanical Engineering. But placement is not so good. Nature is natural and very beautiful for studying and playing. They also have the gym facility.

Infrastructure: The year I had joined the college had less facilities and more tall claims. Just a Single Bus for close to 1200 students. No Book Bank. No Medical Facility. But gradually they were introduced after we students forced the management to do so. Faculty: Few of the faculty members are experienced and rest all are passouts from the same college. Placement: The less said, the more relief. Only few companies visits and more tall claims.

College is situated beside jungle. Infrastructure of this college is very good. As well as campus life is average because lack of fun zone, mall, movie hall though it’s worth for the money. But the placement cell at MIT is very poor at my time but condition change time to time.

College is the place where one can get higher education for achieving his or her career goal.

Placements: Very few students were placed in our college. 3 LPA is the lowest and 5 LPA is the highest package offered in my course. Mahindra is the top recruiting company for our course. About 20 per cent of students in our college got internships in HCL.

In this college, you can gain knowledge.

Placements: The quality of placements provided in our college is extremely excellent. Around 80% of the students got placed, and the highest salary package offered by companies was around 7 LPA. The placement process is very challenging for every student, and our college is very helpful throughout the placement process.

Proud for MIT, and our ME Department.

Placements: The placement in our college, in one word is good. Its our great opportunity that our college is one of the most the oldest college in West Bengal, that is why alumni network is very strong and they regularly visit our campus. Many reputed companies visited our campus for placement drive, some are TCS, L&T, Alstom, LG, Simplex Infra, Pinnacle Infotech, Skipper and many more. I feel proud as MITans.
