Placements: About 85% plus students were placed. The highest was 82 LPA, and the lowest was around 6 LPA, with an average of 15 LPA and a median of 13 LPA. Every sector has decent placement. 30% were in the core field, 60% in the IT sector, and 10% in other sectors. About 80 companies offered internships, and 300+ companies visited for campus placement.

Placements: Before the recession period, almost 80–85% of the students were placed, with the average package being around 19.3 Lacs per annum and the highest package being 82 LPA. The top recruiting companies visit the campus which includes Atlassian, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, DE Shaw, etc.

Placements: In my branch, 85% of students are placed. So, overall placements are good. The placements for other branches are also good, but for the CSE and ECE students, the placements are excellent, averaging approximately 18 LPA for CSE and above 15 LPA for ECE students.

Placements: I am a student of the electrical branch in MANIT Bhopal. In MANIT Bhopal, 82 percent of electrical students are placed with an average package of 11 LPA, and the highest package of the electrical branch is 51 LPA. Around 250 Computer Science students, about 200 Electronics and Communication, and 200 Electrical Engineering students. 150 Mechanical Engineering, 100 Civil Engineering, and 80 Material Science and Metallurgy students. Placements: I'm currently in my first year and my department is Electronics and Communication. I'm not that aware of the placements and internships that happened in past years but as per my knowledge, the average package of our department was around 16.5 LPA of the last batch and around 70% of students were placed. But if you talk about last year, my branch has a 43 percent placement rate and from which the average package was 15 LPA, whereas the highest was 86 LPA. The placement stats are quite good. Placements: The placements are good, on par with most other NITs. The highest package goes above 80 LPA, and overall, the average stood above 15 LPA. Electrical also sees the highest package of around 52 LPA. CSE average package being above 22 lacs. So this is definitely a great college placement-wise. And yes, for electrical, you can get free time to learn skills as well.

Placements: Our electrical engineering program excelled in placements, with 85% student placement success. Placements: The course in our college is good, and placements are impressive. Batchmates are helpful. The highest package in civil engineering is 19 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Additionally, 20% of students secure internships in their third year, covering both technical and non-technical domains.

Placements: In MANIT, in 2024, the percentage of students placed is 73%, and in 2023, it was 83.12%. In Mechanical, the highest package in 2024 is 19 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters were HPCL, Bajaj, Hero, and Mahindra. Students also got internships in Hero and Mahindra-like companies. The top roles were in robotics and automation.

Placements: I am a first-year student of the metallurgy branch from NIT Bhopal. Last year, i.e. 2023, there was an 81% placement rate with an average placement of 10.17 Lacs. All these details are clearly mentioned on the official website of NIT Bhopal. The highest placement was 35 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are JSW, NALCO, IREL (India) limited, Jindal Steel, Reliance Industries Limited, Vedanta, Flipkart, Meesho, EXL, Decimal Point, Juspay, and many more.

Placements: The faculty here is good. Some teachers explain concepts thoroughly, similar to how we are taught in school. But, some teachers will only presentations, quickly flipping through slides, making it harder to understand. All faculty members are highly experienced and have completed their PhD. Placements: MANIT is an old NIT. It has very good alumni status and placement opportunities. Placement varies with the branch. CSE has an average salary package of 26 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 82 LPA. Some branches have an average salary package of around 9 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 21 LPA.

Placements: Placements for Civil Engineering are comparatively low as other branch like CSE and ECE. Last year, the highest salary package offered for Civil Engineering was 15 LPA, and for CSE it was 83 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 10 LPA for Civil Engineering and 28 LPA for Computer Science. Placement percentage is about 60%-70%, which is quite average because most students opt for higher studies in civil engineering or government jobs.
