The college is very good and beautiful, and everyone should be lucky to be here.

Placements: Our placement season is not yet started as we are studying 3rd year, but our seniors got placed. Around 192 students got placed. Our placement process will start next year. Companies visit the campus for placements every year. The institution plays a prestige role in the placements of students. Faculty members work hard to place their students.

A few faculty are not much friendly. The placement cell is good.

Placements: Placements in this college are above average. Companies related to all the core subjects visit the college. Around 50% of the students get placed every year. Salaries offered to freshers are based on the market. Students go for an internship every semester, and some of them are arranged by the college itself. The college has a placement cell, and it is very effective.

Satisfied and happy with the classes and facilities, and the placements are good.

Placements: According to my knowledge, our college has a good placement history. Infosys is the prime company that recruits students from our college. It offers a good package and job profile. Other top-notch companies like HDFC Bank, Allianz, etc., also conduct placement drives on our campus.

Very less Activities, Mostly studies.

Placements: Some companies come here yearly to recruit freshers. They have collections with Infosys which enables them to get the company to come to the college yearly for recruitment. The average salary offered by companies is around ?30000. There has been also times where some companies offered upto 1 Lacs for certain posts. Only starter roles are offered here and most of the students apply for them. But a large number of students get declined. Last year about 90-100 students got jobs in various companies...

Mere satisfaction of "College life.

Placements: There were about 3 companies that came in for hiring. All 3 were from the IT field. None bothered to bring in core companies related to our stream. However, the students eligible were promptly selected and placed in the 3 companies that came in. Also, students with mere backlogs were not given any consideration by the placement cell even though there were firms that were ready to hire them from a nearby technopark.

Discipline and marks do not substitute for practical knowledge and compassion.

Placements: The placements conducted here are average. Core companies are rarely brought here for recruitment. Most of the companies are software companies and other small firms. The annual salary package can range from 1.75 LPA to 4.25 LPA. These companies include Infosys, IBM, Hyundai, Sheridan, Oppo etc. Roles or job description can range from sales promoter to clerk. Almost 30 percent of the students got the placements. College rarely provides internships. Students have to find and arrange intern by the...

A good college for students to study but all other activities are restricted.

Placements: My college has a good placement cell. Almost 100 students were placed last year. Even though no mechanical companies are coming for placements, all other placements provided are from well-established companies. This year, almost 50 students have been already placed.

The college has a strict campus and faculty. Though it is not enjoyable, it is academically strong. Placement facilities are also available in the college. Students can achieve good results in the university exams. Separate hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys inside the campus itself. There are three internal exams in each semester.

MEC is located at Kazhakutom, Trivandrum. The college is having its specializations in Computer Science, Electronics, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil and EEE. The college has a good infrastructure and a good atmosphere. The college is strict and has a strict faculty, but is academically strong. 3 internal exams are held in each semester. No support is provided by the college for extra-curricular activities, so the campus life is less enjoyable.

Marian is a great college in terms of academics. The faculty is always willing to help, clears all our doubts and will even help you through phone before exams. The bad thing about the college is that there are very few or no interest based student clubs and the students are brought up in a very strict atmosphere which is a negative in today's scenario.

Classes at MCET (Marian College of Engineering and Technology) are having probably friendly nature to students. The campus is completely in favor of students, that on my point of view nobody may hate that college campus at any instant. Not all the teachers/professors are best educated, and fully eligible. The whole atmosphere gives a positive energy though, both to enjoy as well for completely their graduation. Most of the teachers are so friendly, so that we can approach them for any doubts reg...
