My review for ICT (at MU).
Placements: As the branch is opened in our college from 2018, no batch is placed yet. Top roles in my branch one can pursue is in fields related to computers, communication, software development, embedded solutions, etc. And, same fields related companies can come for recruitments. This, summer our senior batch which is with class strength of 30 and all got 90 days internship.
Infrastructure: Department:- WI-FI, good classrooms, supportive faculty members, library with an amazing collection of books, 24/7 computer lab for hostel students of ICT. Hostel:- WI-FI, clean rooms, good quality food, frequent cultural events, 5-7 doctor visits hostel.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers have a very practical approach to teach. They give proper guidance to students to make them industry-ready by giving frequent expose from industry people. The course outcomes are such that it makes students ready for industrial working atmosphere.
Other: I have an interest in industrial automation so this branch was best for me to gain knowledge about sensors, microcontrollers, programming, etc. Some more portion of hardware in the course and here, by hardware I mean controllers & sensors.
