MEC Kochi BTech Courses & Fees 2024: Eligibility & Selection, Admission 2024, Application Form

CEE will release KEAM 2025 normalised scores on June 2025 and the rank list in July 2025. CEE Kerala publishes the result on the official website. CEE Kerala also publishes the rank list of KEAM after entering class 12 marks by qualified candidates. The KEAM result can be checked by using their application number and password. Based on KEAM scores and qualifying exam scores, the KEAM rank list is prepared. The rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science / B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS will be published separately as PDF in the coming days. KEAM question papers can be downloaded from the official website cee.kerala.gov.in. In. KEAM is held in CBT mode with one paper that has three sections (maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM 2025 entrance exam for engineering courses will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2025 BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates four marks, while every incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one mark.

Yes, you are eligible for admission. However, you should have passed Class 12 or equivalent pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology subjects. The minimum aggregate required for selection as per the college is 50%. 

MEC Kochi BTech is offered in seven specialisations. All the courses are offered in a full-time mode. Table below carries names of the specialisations:

This college offers students good placements and the students can start applying for placement from their 5^th semester onwards. Almost 97% of students get placed in the campus selections of CSE branch and also for remaining branches. The highest package offered is INR 30LPA and the average package is INR 8-9LPA.

The top companies which are recruiting candidates are Google, Microsoft, tcs, HCL, Amazon, Infosys in CSE branch. Similarly, Tech Mahindra, TATA elxis, TCS, Wipro are recruting in core branches. There is also more internship oppurtunities for the students who were in this college.

KEAM 2025 counselling schedule will be announced after the result is out. CEE will hold the KEAM counselling online only. Through KEAM 2025 counselling, candidates can seek admission into the KEAM participating colleges. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats through KEAM counselling 2025 on the basis of the KEAM rank list, marks data entered and availability of seats in a particular college. KEAM 2025 seat allotment is done through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. Candidates who receive an allotment letter should remit the fee/balance fee (if applicable) payable to CEE in any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. After the KEAM 2025 counselling rounds, the online mop-up round is conducted for vacant seats.

The college releases cutoff ranks for the selection rounds until all the seats are allotted. MEC Kochi recent cutoff for the BTech courses is not available. In 2021, the KEAM closing rank was most competitive for CSE- 1117, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering - 3292, and Electronics and Biomedical Engineering - 11430. The ranks mentioned here were for the General-All India category students.

Is MEC Kochi Good for B.E./B.Tech?
