Really good placements in 2024.

Faculty: The semester exam questions are prepared by MAKAUT which are very unpredictable. The pass percentage is 40% with internals and attendance included. The written exam is of 70 marks, and the rest 30 marks are based on internal assessments and attendance. Practical exams are quite easy.

Placements are average in 2024, and faculty members are above average. The lab teacher is bad.

Faculty: In 1st year, there are general and assistant teachers. But the maths faculty member is the best and the physics faculty member is average. The electrical faculty member is the worst, and even at last the teacher resigns. The physics faculty members do not teach anything and make us only write notes. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. The placement team was good. Semester exams are very difficult because MAKAUT University conducts the test, so it is quite difficult to pass the exa...

MSIT review by a 1st year student.

Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is actually good. 2. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. 3. The semester exams are difficult if you study. The pass percentage depends on the year.

The college life of a first-year student.

Faculty: The faculty is average, but the teachers are good at communicating with us. The class coordinator is great in my department. Every teacher is good in their behavior as well as in teaching. They give suitable marks to every student to cope with the result and the CGPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placement.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are actually helpful, but most of them don't care what we do, and our TPO is the worst of all. Semester exams were decent, but questions were unpredictable. Also, the TPO or teacher nobody helped us during placements and told us to do coding. We were left on our own.

The ground reality reveals a lack of verification. Only consider joining if solely seeking a degree.

Faculty: The course curriculum is outdated for some subjects, especially in the first year, but becomes more relevant from the second year onwards. Only three out of ten teachers are capable of making students understand the concepts and show genuine interest in teaching. The rest seem to be there just to fulfill their duty. Mechanical teachers are notably the least effective, often behaving as if they own the college, and their attitude towards students is inexplicably harsh. The pass percentage is 40 p...

The management and staff provide strong support and learning opportunities are available.

Faculty: Some qualities of a good teacher include skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patience. Other characteristics of effective teaching include an engaging classroom presence, a focus on real-world learning, the exchange of best practices, and a lifelong love of learning. An engineering curriculum can help students become ready for the job market. Semester exams in the college are difficult and about 40% of students pass, including CA.

The college is well maintained and the faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable also.

Faculty: The teachers are too much educated and knowledgeable. They are too much helpful also. You can ask your doubts at any time of the day. He/she will obviously help you. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. The college is under MAKAUT university. The questions are not very tough.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality of most of the faculty members is good. The course curriculum is not so relevant as industry demand. The difficulty of semester examinations is decent. Pass percentage is approximately 70-80%.

Teachers are good, but management needs changes and placement is at the worst level. They don't care

Faculty: Teachers are good, and they try their best, but there are not enough teachers. More teachers are needed, and other staff also help a lot. If you join this college, 90% of the placement pressure is on you. Semester exams are according to the university syllabus.

This is a good college for students whose rank is not excellent in WBJEE.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes the students industry-ready. If anyone studies one month seriously before exams, they can get a good CGPA. You just have to follow your classes.

Take admission at your own risk.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful; most of them are students from Jadavpur University, so I can tell they are good. But the curriculum is so old-fashioned and bad; you can never expect a job by learning this curriculum. The most difficult semester is the first one. It starts off tough, but when you go with the flow, it gets easier.

Those who are good at studies, come to this college. If you work hard in life, you can do anything.

Faculty: The teacher is very helpful, and the teaching quality is also good. The exam level is moderate. Passing percentage is 60 to 70%. The students make industry-level projects. In this college, teachers and facilities are everywhere to help. Teachers will explain everything you ask.

It is an average college but it can do better.

Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful. They try to help their students in all the terms. They provide assistance in assignments and placements. Teachers are well qualified, and they teach very well and try to make sure that every student understands the concepts.
