It is good for book worm type of people and the rules will make you go mad.

Placements: 1.20% of the students were placed. 2.15pa and 3.5pa was the salary offered. 3. Maybe one or two companies came for recruitment 4.25% of students got an internship. Placements are good but mostly only CSE and IT companies come and they first take those circuit branches and then they come to mechanical. Placement in the core company is less even 1%.

Review of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are good since it is a well-reputed college in southern Tamil Nadu. The college has a tie-up with leading MNCs assuring students 100% placement. The number of students in my senior batch placed is less than our batch, which shows the brand of this college. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.

It is a good college for toppers.

Placements: Placements for our batch was good compared to senior batch. Almost 90% of students got placed from our batch. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,0000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month, and it depends on companies as well as our knowledge. Companies like CTS, Wipro, etc., visited our campus for placements. You should have a 75% aggregate to get an internship. The stipend offered for internships is Rs.15,000 to 20,000.

The college has the best faculty members in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Placements in our college are excellent as the placement head is a well-qualified expert. Every year around 80% of the students who opted for placements get placed in reputed companies. Even due to the in-depth teaching processes followed, students qualify in the GATE exam and work for top PSUs in India.

Dissatisfied with the attitude of faculty members, management and the placement officer.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Almost 70% of the students were placed last year. Companies like Aricent, Wipro, TCS, CTS and Zoho visited the college. Roles such as programme assistant trainee and developer were offered by the companies. Around 30-40% of the students got internships. There is a placement cell in our college.

I didn't exaggerated anything.

Placements: Average placements like any tier 1 college. Mostly IT companies recruit in 100s, for core company you have to work little hard. Friendly placement officer, location maybe the only concern. Good placement training was given to students. No need to worry much.

The college prepares a student to be capable of surviving in any situation.

Placements: Students are trained to gain all the qualities required to attend the placements. More than 300 companies visited the campus, and more than 3,000 students got placed in all reputed companies. Not only IT but also banking sector companies visited the campus, and students got placed in the banking sector companies too.

The best college to gain knowledge.

Placements: Placements in Mepco are getting rapid attention as there is an assurance for at least 90% placement opportunities. Students doing well in academics get a chance of internship during their eighth semester. Placements are really exciting in Mepco. Students should be really talented to get placed within a few days of the beginning of the placement season. Placement training provided in our college is worth it.

Good infrastructure, great faculties, average placement records in 2018 and dissatisfied with rules.

Placements: Currently the placements in our college are a bit in a bad stage. Only the CSE and it students will get placed or the students with their skills. It companies are only coming for the recruitment. The average salary packages are good about 15 LPA for the students in the creamy layer but on the other side the packages do also goes much deep downer.

Fee is too much but strict in discipline.

Placements: Placement is good. Both core and software companies are visiting our campus and recruiting students. Many students get multiple placement offers and they are getting internships from companies. Also 8th semester course can be completed in 7th semester so that students can go for internships during their course time of 6 months. Placement training is provided by college and full support to students is provided for their benefit.

This college is suitable for only study.

Placements: Don't expect 100% placements in civil department. In my senior batch there were 35 persons interested in placement in that 25 persons were placed. In my batch there were 50 students interested in placement but only 15 students were placed. Because in my batch students are not interested in IT company.

Placements: We had a placement cell in our college and the placement officer try to make us in contact with alumni. Compared to previous year, this year we have very less number of placements. This year about 75 percent students got placed in various companies, whereas the placements for civil, mechanical and biotechnology is very less. The highest salary offered is 16 Lakhs and the lowest salary offered is 1.2 Lakhs. The average package is about 4.5 Lakhs. All top class companies like L&T, Infosys, CTS, et...
