Expectations to the college were good but totally disappointed when coming to placement.
Placements: There are no placements for my branch, i.e. in chemical engineering. We were interviewed for 2-3 BPOs and send to one core company which also rejected our application later by just saying that the process has been stopped. On record, the placement was 80-90%, but none of the students goes to the company in which they were placed through college including me. Only one company TCS was the company that every students aspiring to. But our branch was not applicable to it because they don't take the chemical branch. The college doesn't offer any internship for any student. There is a placement cell, but it is useless. MIT only improving themselves on paper, not on their ground level. Even their best-known branch is also not getting good feedback, i.e. mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not high class, but it is average. Chemical engineering was newly built building, so it was somehow good than other old buildings. The Lab equipment was pretty good. Wi-Fi connection was not good, the classroom of the newly built building was good, but of old buildings, it was the worst. The library was too short, and no good books were available, so I will rate it below average. Food of canteen was so unhygienic and pathetic, cleanliness of canteen was the worst also it was not at all spacious. Boys hostel was similar to labour room foul smelling, old buildings, and the worst locality. Girls hostel was within the campus, and it was average.
Faculty: The maximum of the faculty members was one of the alumni of the same college, who had pursued M.Tech either from IIT or Bits Pilani. Few of the faculty members including our HOD was superb in their knowledge, but they were not continued for long. Other teachers were just there to complete the course and take the exams, and no one has much knowledge that they provide us with industry exposure. There was an industrial visit which was the only good effort done on their part. The course curriculum books available through the college was not sufficient, so we had to buy many costly books through the market.
Other: Utkarsh is the name of the fest, which is average on their part. The campus crowd was good except chemical and IT branch. The scholarship was only for the scheduled class, and extracurricular activities were interesting.
