Certificate | A candidate should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission or within three months of it, and should be medically fit. |
MDS | Candidate must have completed BDS awarded by a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college. Candidate, who after passing BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI, is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2024 can apply, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2024 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2024. |

Furthermore, study of Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject at 10+2 level shall not be permissible. Candidate passed B.Sc. from Indian University with not less than 2 of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotech and further passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English can also apply. Result awaited candidates can also apply. The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission (born on or before 31.12.2005).
