Huge gap between the CGPA and the packages.

Placements: For the ECE branch, a very few core companies visited the campus very late. Due to that, many students couldn't take the benefits as we had one placement policy, so most of us got placed in software firms. 60% students of ECE got placed. The highest package offered was 16 LPA by Morgan Stanley and the lowest was 3.3 LPA by TCS. The average package was around 6 LPA.

MNIT, Jaipur is a college with very good infrastructure and nice faculty. Placements are good in computer and electronics but in core branches like civil electrical and mechanical, students are less interested to work in private organisation. Students of modern world do not want to work in private companies and they are preparing for entrance exams like CAT, GATE, GRE, etc. for further studies. Fees of the college is based on the family income according to MHRD.

As being a NIT , it is an institute o national importance , so no doubt it is a very good college. I am a student of the 2013-2017 ECE batch from here. First of all , about admission , as it is a NIT, so admission takes places on the basis of IIT-JEE mains rank . About the campus: MNIT has a very huge and beautiful campus with 10 boys and 2 girls hostels. The campus is situated at JLN road and has excellent surroundings with forest park and public parks. MNIT provides good quality of education. It provides both theoretical and practical knowledge about the subject matter. Apart from studies, students are also exposed to various co-curricular activities. Placements are also good and the professors take interactive sessions with the students frequently. Overall, MNIT is a good college to choose for your studies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. Placement: The placements and salary are above average. If you are from computer engineering branch, then a handsome salary is assured. Regarding other branches, one has to work hard to get placed in core companies. Faculty: I do not mean to be disrespectful, but personally speaking, the faculty members are not very encouraging. They do not put much effort towards student's development. Basically, you are on your own. Campus Facilities: Major am...

MNIT Jaipur is located in the Jaipur city, so it has a good connectivity through airways, railways, and roadways. Also, students can prepare for GATE, CAT, IES, IAS, and etc. as one will find these coaching centers nearby. The college has great infrastructure even better than some of the IITs. MNIT Jaipur has almost 100% placements for students above 6 CGPA.

The college is sure worth the money and the amount of hard work and effort required to be here. The campus is good, they have reasonably good facilities here, teaching is above average and the best part is the internet. Moreover, the campus is situated right in the heart of the city, unlike other NITs which are far away from civil lines. There is proper supply of electricity and water through the day.

MNIT is a national level college. As far as other colleges are concerned in Rajasthan, its infrastructure is really good. Talking about education, no practical knowledge is given. Placements are decent but they depend on the branch that one has opted. Computer science and electronics branch have very good placements. Electrical, mechanical and civil have decent placements. Placements for metallurgy engineering are not up to the mark.

MNIT, Jaipur is among the top NITs. It is situated at a very good location in the city. Infrastructure is also very good. A lot of co-curricular and extracurricular activities takes place here. But cultural and technical fests are not up to the mark. Placements for CSE are quite good but are average for other branches. B.Tech is a good option but M.Tech and Ph.D are not satisfactory in this college. If you have a passion to study on your own, then it is a good option to go for.

The faculty is good and students get a lot of exposure due to variety of events organised by MNIT and other technical and non-technical colleges. Placements are good and the average package is Rs.4-4.5 Lakh per annum for the department of management studies.

The college has a good ranking and brand name. Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. Campus and hostel life is awesome. I like the course structure. The fee structure is economical as compared to other B schools. Mess food is horrible. The infrastructure is good with an open and big, green campus. Placements for b. tech students are good, but not as good for other departments.
