Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Vedanta Group, BPCL, etc. Very few students got intern in chemical engineering. Only 4 to 5 students got internships.

A good number of companies (more than 150) visited the campus this year. If you get a good peer group, you'll become really skilled in the concerned field. This college is also well-known for clearing GATE and other government exams with handsome ranks.

Placements: MNIT has a very good placement record in both technical and non-technical branches. I am from a technical branch which is mechanical engineering. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 23 LPA at BPCL. But it was all about core placements. If you are thinking about non-core placements, the average salary package offered crosses around 10 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 24 LPA.

Placements: College has the best training and placement cell that provide new opportunities. Students eligible for placements will have good chances to be placed. More than 100 companies visited for recruitment. Students with good CGPA will get opportunities to do foreign internships under DAAD and the student exchange program.

Tata Steel Industries and DRDO are the top companies that have ever recruited students from our course. Almost all get internships. Physical metallurgists are in high demand.

Placements: We are taught about machine learning and how to solve problems through it in our college. This course is good for students who are interested in the practical application of what they read in real life. I love the machines, they provide jobs in research and development departments for automobiles and other companies in this sector.

The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Here core companies visit and offer less package, but students can get placed in IT companies if they do well. The IT companies do not provide internships.

Placements: It is hard to get on-campus placements in the architecture field in any college. The placements are not so bad, but compared to engineering courses, they are negligible. We normally get the role of a junior architect in placements.
