Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Nursing was established in 2000 by the Mohamed Sathak Trust. It is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC). The students are enrolled as members of Students Nurses Association of India, which enables them to bring out their leadership talents.
Currently, the College offers BSc and MSc programmes in Nursing with a total of 28 faculty members. It has clinical tie-ups with several hospitals, including Chennai Port Trust Hospital, Sri Sathya Sai Medical College & RI (Thiruporur), Bharathi Raja Hospital, Global Health City, Kanchi Kamakotti Child Trust Hospital, Adyar / Mirsahibpet Govt Health Post, Institute of Mental Health and more.
The campus of the College is spread across seven acres with basic facilities, including library, book bank, internet, smart classrooms, indexing, online journals, reading halls, hostels for male & female students and many more. It also fosters various sports and co-curricular activities to provide students opportunities to participate in intra and inter-college sports events. Apart from this, there is Annual College Day in which students are encouraged to take part in various events.
