It is a good college with good placements.

Placements: It was the best engineering college in Pudukkottai district. Around 100% of placements are provided every year. All the students got good jobs on campus. The lowest salary offered was Rs.20,000 per month and the highest salary package was 1 LPM.

The college has good placements and facilities.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 6 LPA, the average package is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, TVs, Royal Enfield etc. Above 70% of students got internships in TVs. Supervisor, junior engineer, etc., roles are offered.

Overall best place to gain knowledge and will get best experience .

Placements: I must mention about the placements happening in our college, the training and placement department is striving really hard and they make sure that almost every students of the college gets placed before completing the graduation which helps the students to start and build their career.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the management.

Placements: No placements are provided in the college. No student from 2018 batch got placed on campus because only BPO companies visited the college. Students of my batch are not interested in it. Some consultancies also visit the college every year. They offer jobs to the students on campus, but they ask for money when students approach them after the course. Many of my seniors got placed in some companies, but they were ignored when they reached the office. Some of my seniors who passed out in 2017 were ...

It is an average college, and don't expect much.

Placements: The placements are not offered for our seniors. By means of core jobs, there are no placements. They offered salesman jobs for an automobile engineer in car showrooms, and whether it is useful for their future and is there is any growth in their career. The highest salary package was 1.2 LPA. Anyone could get a sales job in automobile showrooms, but they arranged a group called Autogurukul to get this job. There are no internships. They conducted placement training during our final year only and...

Worthless and Fit for nothing.

Placements: We all haven't got any campus interviews or placements. Our college is very poor in handling these kinds of job offers. They won't even consider it as a thing. Our senior batches, super senior batches, our batches and our junior batches became very disappointed with our college.

The worst ever engineering college in Tamil Nadu. Please don't prefer this college.

Placements: During my college days, the placement cell was poor in the activity. Poor in caring the students for the placements. During early times of my college days, Infosys is the only major company visited for the placements and hired around 20-30 members. After 2012 it reduced to 18. In 2013, the Infosys not even visited our college due to the poor management and maintenance in the campus.

It is the best college in our city, established 25 years ago.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. The students are mostly placed in BPO companies, but few students are also placed in MNC’s. The average salary offered to the students is Rs. 15000 per month. Mostly, half of the students are placed, but 25% of them reject because of the job profile. The college has a lot of alumni, who established their own IT companies and the management has contacts with them.

Choose if you have no other choice.

Placements: To be frank, the placements offered in my college was nil for our seniors. Around 12 companies visited our college during our final year, but all of them were offering low packages and the range was from 75,000 per annum to 2.2 lakhs per annum. No internship was ever given to any student during our tenure of study and for our seniors either. But the training and placement department has been building up for the past one year and the students are being given extra coaching to develop their skill...

Success is always given by Mookambigai.

Placements: It is having a good placement and training cell. They are giving the best training for the students for personality development. Many of the students were placed in the top leading companies. Nearly 80% of students had an internship program, and average salary packages were offered.

The college has a well-equipped library, labs, and transport facility. Equal weight age is given to sports and extra weight to the sport and extracurricular activities apart from academics. The college also provides a separate hostel for boys and girls. This year around 350 students was placed in different companies.

It's good for those who have an idea of doing mechanical engineering but there is no campus interview. There we only have all practical equipment regarding mechanical. Faculty is experienced and highly knowledgeable about their streams. The management was less strict. The only demerit was it didn't have an impressive infrastructure.

The Head of the Departments of each department are highly qualified and motivating professors. The lab facilities for the mechanical are incredible and for the other departments it is good. I couldn't find an option to rate this below. The training and placement cell is working really hard to place the students in good companies but again it's all in students' hands to make use of the opportunities. Over all Mookambigai college of engineering is a good college for the average/ above average rank...

Its a good college, but the infrastructure is worst. The teaching staff and coaching is good here. Still want to improve a lot in other activities like sports etc. But this college is not worth for management seats. Only two or three companies visit the campus for recruitment every year.

Placements and facilities are good.

Placements: Almost 88% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Almost 50% of the students got an internship from our course in Infosys.

Our college is the best, and there is freedom for students.

Placements: Placements are not provided for the civil department, which is even applicable for 1st class students. However, some department students got placements in different companies. Mainly, computer science students have many offers through placements, and they would get a good salary package in the future. Our college has the placements cell, and they conduct many special classes for good students.

The value of the college is going backwards.

Placements: It was a good college with many consultancies. Placement officer should find better companies and bring them to college. During our course duration, only 3 companies visited our campus. There were around 700 students on campus and only 3 companies visited the campus for recruitment.

Don't choose this if you want to learn practically.

Placements: Regarding placements, well very few companies (1 or 2) may come to this college and we can expect salary around 5k to 8k. Don't expect much about placement here. I am a final year student and about to finish my course but yet only one company came for the placement (I don't even know the name of the company).
