Review of Mount Carmel College.
Placements: Our college provides plenty of placement opportunities for students to outshine throughout the four years, but at the end of the day, students have to grab it. Our teachers guide us a lot in placements. Our college provides mandatory internships in the 5th and 6th semesters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is known for its excellent infrastructure. Our department classrooms have a sound room, film room, AV room, etc. The canteen has become one of our favorite places. The food served in the canteen is good and affordable. The best thing that I like about our infrastructure is its greenery. Our college has a botanical garden and a very cool amphitheater. Our college provides us with all facilities to give a healthy environment of education with well-equipped labs. The hostel has strict rules.
Faculty: I would give 100 stars to our faculty members. Our department faculty members have worked in the industry. They have experience in their fields. Many times, you might get glued to their stories in classrooms. We don't have textbooks for our course. It is based on their lecture and practicals. The teacher and student ratio is 1:4.

Actual Review of the Communication Department- with insights into the course and facilities.
Placements: Top recruitment companies often consist of Deloitte, Goldman and Sacks, Popular Radio stations, and other companies looking for a communications specialist. Last year, in the batch of 2022, Around 60% of the student were placed and the packages varied from 25,000 to 40,000.
Infrastructure: The course has a top-notch infrastructure. From editing labs to sound rooms to even a film room, we have all the required equipment for all sorts of editing. Every class has projectors to facilitate better screening of movies and pictures for analysis. Macs are placed in editing labs to give the best editing experiences. The sound room has sound bata, speakers, and mics- basically, everything you need to record a song, podcast, or radio module.
Faculty: Teachers in this course are highly qualified and the same reflects in their teaching qualities. The knowledge offered is not textbook knowledge and a lot of experiential knowledge which in terms makes the students better communicators, since we learn from real- hand and not textbooks. This module also improves comprehension skills since we decipher and analyse research papers, movies, and pictures. The exams are mostly assignments based which is the best part since this system tests our actual skills and not mug-up qualities.
Other: MCC Bangalore has innumerable quality fests. There are lots of different co-curricular associations like dance, music, public speaking, MUN, and many more. The canteen offers almost all sorts of food with hygiene on point. The campus is well-built and widespread. The overall college experience offers a lot of exposure.

Mount Carmel College Bangalore Communication Studies.
Placements: Placements at Mount Carmel College are very tough to get. The average package they say is 4 - 7 LPA. I really don’t have an idea about placements here because I am a newbie and I am in my 1st year. I have done one internship with Indian Artists Collective, which was a non-paying internship. If you want internships, you must be in the good books of the professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my block is really good, while other blocks, like the LSCB block, have very old benches and stuff. However, every classroom in my block has a computer and a projector. If not every class, at least my block does. There is no hostel for boys here, and since this is the first year for boys, girls are chilling around in the hostel. They have told me it's pretty decent, so don’t expect much.
Faculty: The faculty here is really professional. The professors do have personal talks with students if they are having problems with their studies. Also, the administration here is chill, unlike other colleges. When it comes to exams, I had one CIA and one end-sem exam in the 1st semester, and this is how it works in every semester.

The infrastructure and facilities are above average.
Placements: Mount Carmel College provides placements based on the scores of students in aptitude test. If the test is cleared, MCC provides good placements for the students. Various companies like Times of India, Tata Consultancy Services, Airtel, Decathlon, E&Y, etc., recruit students from our college. They offer quite good packages starting from Rs. 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are huge and have a smart board. The library is quite huge with books arranged in accordance with the subjects. The library also provides e-books. The canteen provides various vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items, and one can find different cuisines.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified. They focus more on teaching. Teachers use creative methods and activities to teach. A class has around 100 students, so the individual attenuation is less. However, one can always approach the teachers personally and clarify their doubts.
Other: The college conducts events and fests on a regular basis. You'd find some or the other event taking place on the campus every day. If you are interested, you can participate in those. The college manages to balance academics with co-curricular activities. The campus is well-maintained. It is hygienic and safe. There are places around the college for the students to hang out. These mostly include food joints and restaurants.

I am happy with the college.
Placements: One of my friends got a job through placements. We do have a placement cell in our college, and I think it is efficient enough to provide information about placements to students. We usually get information about placements and even internships through e-mail.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided in the college are good, and Wi-Fi facility is available to even students. New canteens are opened in the college since the student population is increasing. The quality of food in canteens is also fine, and hostel rooms are good. I did not face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and approachable. We can always clear our doubts after the class hours. They use projectors to show topic related videos and PPTs. The course curriculum would definitely provide a base when we take up masters course.
Other: The college conducts a lot of fests including intra and inter-college fests. The campus surroundings are kept clean.
