MVSR Engineering College

Placements: About 60-70% of students get placed every year. Many companies come to recruit students in our college; however, this year's placement percentage has decreased compared to previous years. Over 100 companies visit every year. MVSR has good placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure, including projectors in classrooms and well-equipped computer labs. Hostel facilities are available, and the food in the hostel is average but not bad. The canteen offers a variety of vegetarian items, and management encourages all kinds of sports.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very friendly with students. The curriculum is updated based on current industry needs. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 70%. Teachers are very helpful and clarify our doubts even after college hours.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to the lack of extracurricular activities.

Placements: Approximately 30% of students have been placed so far, as the session is ongoing. The highest package recorded till now is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiters include mass recruiters like Amazon and TCS. While only some students secured internships through the college, a few managed off-campus internships with prestigious companies like Goldman Sachs and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: The college features large buildings for each course, with clean and well-maintained classrooms. The campus is adorned with numerous trees, providing a pleasant environment. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, and the library is well-equipped. The quality of food in hostels, mess, and canteen is commendable. Medical facilities with a doctor and an indoor games room are also provided.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, holding postgraduate degrees, and are known for their helpfulness and extensive knowledge in their respective fields. However, while the IT course is strong, it may not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not overly difficult, with a pass percentage of about 85%.

Other: I chose this college as there were no better options available for me offering CSE. The course could be enhanced with more industry-level technology. The college hosts minimal events, with only one festivalival per year. The campus has good road connectivity and is surrounded by the city. Unfortunately, no scholarships or extracurricular activities are provided.

College Chronicles with Experience.

Placements: That is a disaster for the post-COVID batches. I can't even comment on that aspect, but the only thing that bothers me is that companies like Accenture, LTI, Mindtree, and Cognizant are hiring fewer numbers from our college compared to other colleges. That is the only issue with our college.

Infrastructure: For our time, we didn’t have any campus hostels, so we lived at private hostels. Hostel facilities are good except for the floor. Coming to the college hostels, they are good in all aspects, from food to Wi-Fi to sanitation. The only thing is, for girls especially, they should be in the hostel by 6 o'clock.

Faculty: Faculty in the IT department is good compared to other branches. Our faculty is well-educated, and they make us do internships and other activities patiently. I personally like the way they encourage students. They help in doing projects and research, and they arrange many seminars for students' futures.

Good quantity but lack of quality.

Placements: Our college has a high placement rate of 60-80% for students, although the majority of them secure entry-level positions with salaries ranging from 3 to 4L. It is encouraging to see that the ratio of placements to students is growing each year. Notably, two students were able to secure the highest package of 24L.

Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is a major source of frustration. Despite its appealing exterior, the benches and laboratories are only average in terms of quality. Moreover, the availability of Wi-fi is limited to specific rooms, and the canteen only offers vegetarian options, which is quite underwhelming.

Faculty: The teachers possess extensive experience and are known for being student-friendly. The curriculum is consistently updated to align with current trends. However, a drawback in this aspect is that the syllabus completion and exam schedules tend to lag behind those of other colleges.

Other: IT was my chosen field due to my personal interest. Although our college hosts numerous events, there is a scarcity of festivals. Engaging in extracurricular activities is restricted unless you aspire to be part of the college team. The college offers sports such as basketball, cricket, football, kabaddi, and volleyball.

Really good facilities, infrastructure, faculty, etc.

Placements: Placements are good at the college. According to your grade percentage or based on your talent, they provide internships and placement offers also. 44 LPA is the highest package. Cisco, Infosys, ZANSAR, Goldman Sachs, Ramboll, IBM, Medha, Cyient, Infotech, etc. are the recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: Hostels are not provided on the college campus. Hostels are available outside the college for both boys and girls. I think there are at least 10 hostels around the college. Check and choose a proper hostel. Classrooms and labs: Classrooms and labs are very good, with proper facilities like computers, projectors, fans and air conditioners. In every two classrooms, 1 classroom has a projector.

Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable and qualified. The syllabus is up-to-date. Semester exams are not too hard. The curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The pass mark for the final exam is twenty-eight out of seventy for every subject.

Other: A bus facility is provided; the bus fees are 25000 or 27000 based on distance. Bus facility are provided from IBP in yamjal Gurramguda, Vanastalipuram, LB Nagar Hayathnagar, Balapur, etc.
