I am very satisfied with our college as it teaches everyone to be helpful to society.
Placements: Around 60% of the students get placed from the IT department in our college. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, Dell, L&T, Tech Mahendra and Capgemini were the top recruiting companies of our college. Nearly 30-40 companies visit our college every year. Roles offered were as network manager, developer and data engineer. The salary package offered in our course ranges from 3 LPA -4 LPA, and it mainly depends on the performance of the students. Almost 80-90% of the students got an internship from our course in Infosys.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities which are required for an IT professional. College is well-equipped with requirements like Wi-Fi campus, library and information centre, labs, etc. We have 2 canteens which provide breakfast, lunch and evening snacks. There is a very friendly atmosphere on campus. Hostel for boys and girls is available at a different place, but it is near to college in and at a walkable distance. Medical facilities are available during college timings.MGIT is known for sports and games. We have big clubs for different activities.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are beneficial, qualified with a PhD and are very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good as they teach quality content. They teach not only the course curriculum, which is relevant but also teach the industry requirements, which makes everyone ready. College offers a different online course that industry requires and conducts mock test for knowing the ability of students. We have different clubs that make everyone to work more to get into the industry.
Other: I chose information technology to get into the software industry and to do my best. The best thing about our course is all about the data, which is very costly. We can improve programming and make it more efficient so that anyone can easily understand the content. Every year many events are conducted like Yukti, NSS, NCC Tech fest, SIH, J HUB, etc. Cultural fest Nirvana, Arts fest sports fest are also organised. Campus crowd is high because MGIT offers many courses and connectivity to the college is good. Campus surroundings are pleasant. Scholarships are also offered. Extracurricular activities like physical training, sports, indoor and outdoor games, brain games, etc., are also organised.

Good infrastructure and facilites but not made to use properly. Very less research work going on.
Placements: In our college companies come for placements generally in our forth year. Our seniors didn't get good placements during the year 2017-2018. Very few of them could bag good packages. Due to recession there were few companies which approached our college for placements last year. Few companies which approached include amazon, Byjus, Tech mahindra, etc. The minimum salary package was about 1.6 lac per annum and the highest was around 8-9 lac per annum. Nearly 90% of the students have done internship projects at various organisation. Few of the organisation offered stipend. There is a placements cell in our college which actively functions. The students are provided with training to attend interviews. It is useful to have such training and Aptitude tests conducted helps to know our skills.
Infrastructure: Our college has got all the basic facilities required by any college like medical facilities, sports and games departments, Library and computer facilities. Wi-Fi is provided in our college to make the productive use of technology to gather knowledge. Classrooms are provided with projectors and are well maintained. The campus overall well maintained. We have got all the labs which are required by our course like cad/cam lab, instrumentation lab, Production technology and machine tools lab. Every engineer in our college is made themselves familiar with Carpentry, house wiring, welding. Etc. WE have got one well maintained labs and classrooms. The recent NBA accreditation achieved by our college shows that the labs and facilities meet the needs. Frankly speaking the canteen food is not upto the required level as it used to be few years ago. The hostels are good and provided with Wi-Fi facilities. We have few private hostels near the college which offer good facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and well experienced. Teaching is good if we consider for exam purpose, the only problem is lack of proper practical demonstration. Our teachers use both conventional and modern techniques for teaching. The students to faculty ratio is pretty good, the college has got sufficient staffs to meets the required needs. We hardly got any industrial exposure from college side other than the internships. The curriculum is good but its not upto the standard for a Mechatronics engineer, though our college was the first in the state to have that course. But there has been changes in the curriculum year by year. And improvements have been brought.
Other: There are various clubs like robotics clubs, music club being one of the best club in our college, Dance club, literary club, dramatics club, etc. Our college offers courses like mechanical engineering. CSE, ECE, EEE, civil engineering, mechatronics, MME and M.Tech so our college has fairly good number of students. Our college students participate in various sports events throughout the state and in college games. Academic scholarships are provided to students who perform research work in their field.
