NM College is the best in Mumbai.

Placements: Placements for my batch were up to our expectations. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the average package offered was 3-4 LPA. A large number of companies visited the campus, which includes Deutsche Bank, KPMG etc. There is an active placement cell in our college.

Satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: I will be sitting for placements this year. Placements have been improving in terms of packages and also the companies visiting the campus. From my senior batch (2019), the maximum package bagged by a student was 20.5 LPA (UG only). Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Barclays, etc., visited the campus and offered packages ranging from 4 LPA to 20.5 LAP. Although not many companies visited for marketing students.

Satisfied with extracurricular activities.

Placements: I'll be sitting for the placement drives this year. As far as the placements of the undergraduates are concerned, the highest package offered for the students of our senior batch (2019) was 20.5 LPA. Good finance companies like big four accounting firms, KPMG, and Barclays, etc., visit the campus for placements. However, the packages offered for marketing students are not that high, and even the companies visit the campus to hire them are not that good.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure. It has complete value for money.

Placements: There is an active placement cell which looks after the placements of students. In my batch, the highest placement was 11Lacs for a BFM graduate and average placement for B.Com and other graduates was 3-4Lacs. A good amount of quality companies come to our college for placement.

Review of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

Placements: Placements in our college were as good as of any other graduation college. I don't remember correctly, but I think the highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. The median salary package offered was 3 LPA. They had tie-ups with a lot of companies like KPMG, Aditya Birla, etc. The college also conducted soft skill training for preparation of placements.

We had a great experience but could have been better.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. A number of corporates including all Big 4 visited our college to offer placements. On an average, 70% of the students get placed through college placements. The average salary offered by was 4 LPA. The highest salary package was offered by Futures First and it was 8 LPA with incentives. Generally, entry-level jobs were provided to the placed students, majorly when they haven't pursued additional courses like CA or CFA along with their course.

The college is worth the money, satisfied with placements, and there are too many rules like school.

Placements: We have a proper placement cell in our college. Placements last for around 2 to 3 months. Every year, around 25 to 30 companies visit our college to hire students. Profiles offered are in almost every department, like HR, finance, IT, marketing, investments, audit, tax, etc. The minimum salary package offered was around 2.50 LPA, and the maximum was 6 LPA.

The college is worthy and its goodwill is beneficial to the students.

Placements: Currently, I am in the third year and haven't completed my graduation yet, so I can't comment on the placement aspect. However, many CA firms come to this college including Big 4 to hire students. There is a separate division which looks after training and placements.

If you can attend college regularly this is the best college you can get.

Placements: There were not more people interested in placements as most of them were doing CA. However some internships were available in multinational companies. There were also placement programme for articleship for CA course in the "BIG 4" i.e. deloitte, kpmg etc. The average stipend was 5000-10000 which varied every year.

Good faculty staff, dissatisfied with college timings, moderate infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 1. Mid size partnership firms approach our college for articled assistants. 2. Most of the commerce students pursue Chartered Accountancy and hence majority of placements are related to articleship. 3. The vacancies are instructed by notices put up on the notice board at every floor. 4. There is a placement cell for students of BAF and other such streams. 5. The average stipend offered is Rs. 4000 6. The percent of students who get internship from college must be around 10% 7. I'm not aware ...

The college I will always cherish.

Placements: If you are a B.Com student, you can't really expect direct placements from the college. There is a fully functioning placement cell in the college but that comes effective to you only if you graduate from any self finance course or are pursuing any other professional degree (CA/CS etc. ). There is a real good placement opportunity for students pursuing Chartered Accountancy or Company Secretary.

NM college and the campus life from the heart.

Placements: There is a common placement cell here which is shared between 5-6 colleges which makes it a very competitive and hard to get exciting placements, because you are against other courses as well as other colleges that make it hard. Except for a decent placement, there is nothing very great here with an average package of around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 a month on an average.

One of the best commerce college of Mumbai.

Placements: The placement is available for CA students in the big fours of our country like KPMG, Delloite, E&Y, PWC and also in many mid-size firms too. The placement cell is on the 3rd floor of the college. It is said that NM students get the best placements in Mumbai.

NM - Right place for the career development.

Placements: The placement cell of our college has tie-ups with many big companies such as Wipro and Infosys. They offered an average salary of 5-6 Lacs per annum. Various job profiles were made available for the students of their choices like marketing department etc.

A good college, a lot to learn and gain, placements are goods and facility needs to improve.

Placements: As of now, I am studying so that I don't know about placements very much, but I have seen my seniors having placed in good companies such as the top four and there are numerous opportunities to grab on. Every year, there is a great soft skills session after term ends which groom you up for your placements.

A decent college with value for money.

Placements: The placements are good in NM college and big brand names like Deloitte, KPMG, Barclay's, EY, etc., come to the college. Mostly companies visit for financial profile and the positions offered are of the analyst, associate and executive. Also, the average package offered is around Rs. 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. Now, in the year 2017, placements haven't been very good so far due to events like demonisation, GST. I'm currently pursuing B.Com, and I got placement in Citi Bank.

NM college is an all in one package.

Placements: In B.Com, there are not many placements, but there are few of the opportunities available in college campus by different companies. You can always apply for it, and overall placement is almost not available for B.Com. I don't know about the other courses, but there must be a placement programme for that.

Really good college. You will be exposed more to the outside world and the knowledge.

Placements: The senior batch had quite a good experience with placements. We experienced the same. Last year, 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 18-20,000 per month and the least was 10,000. Companies such as L&T, TCS and Infosys visited this year. We were also made to prepare ourselves for the interview by the college itself. Mostly the roles offered were basic programming.

Excellent infrastructure. Decent placements in 2016.

Placements: The college claims to have placed 80% of students in the year 2016, but when talking to seniors, we realized these statistics are wrong. Recently, L&T came in. Only 4 students were recruited that too were on standby so overall, if you are looking to be placed, this college offers a decent chances, but don't follow the numbers.

3 best years of life which were totally worth it.

Placements: There were no placements conducted for B.Com graduates. The college does not provide any internship or job. Placements were conducted for BMS students and other courses. B.Com was the most common course selected by students of this college yet no placement programs were conducted. As most of the students pursue CA along with B.Com, yet there were no placement programmes for those students too.
