Q:   What is the NID DAT Counselling schedule?

A: 

The National Institute of Design (NID) conducts NID Counselling for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. Firstly, NID declares MDes results on the official website. The candidates can view their results by entering the login credentials online though the official website at admissions.nid.edu. The next step is NID DAT Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment for admission to MDes programme, selected candidates are to give the confirmation of the seat, payment of non-refundable fees, and uploading of documents for the MDes course in a given time period. Going as per the last year trend, the forst round of couselling is expected to be held in the last week of May.

Master in design at the national institute of design.
Placements: At this college, 50% of the students get placements in the master of design course. The highest package offered in our college was 12 LPA. The lowest package offered was 5 LPA with an average package of 3-7 LPA. Top recruiters in the college were Lavson Auto, Apollo, TVS, Ceat etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a well maintained and developed infrastructure. Facilities provided by the college are good. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen etc. are facilities given to the students. Hostel facility is also available in the college. Food available in the mess was good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty of this college us helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality offered is good. It makes the students industry ready. Course curriculum followed here is relevant. Semester exams in this college are not hard to pass.

Design Course in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru there are a total 347 seats in all 19 M. Design courses; including all reserved categories.On an average about 15,000 students take the NID exam each year. Of these roughly 1200 (8% - 10%) students qualify for NID Mains.
