A college that has a great amount of talent and creativity .

Placements: The percentage of students placed is between 60 and 70 percent. The highest package goes up to INR 600000 per year, and the lowest is around INR 200000 per year. The pros and cons of NIFT Chennai.

Placements: Placement is fairly good. Almost 90% in accessory design. It depends on the student's caliber and portfolio rather than grades. Some of the courses struggle in placements but a good portfolio really helps. Companies are not very high paying initially. Maximum average packages are around 4.5 to 5 LPA.

Great infrastructure and facilities, okay faculty members, placements are also okay.

Placements: Students apply for placements towards the end of the final semester. They can register for placements in as many nift campuses as they want and the companies will vary with each campus. Your portfolio will decide what kind of company you get. One must be alert in placements or they could end up in what is basically a salesperson job. The average placement packages ranges from 3-4 Lacs pa. With regards to internship it is advisable to look for your own company to intern at according to the kind o...

An outstanding campus architecture and exciting college crowd as well as diverse atmosphere.

Placements: The placements take place in the same venue, i.e., NIFT campus, where one can showcase their portfolios. The companies which normally come for placements include Flintobox, Titan, Reliance, etc. The average salary offered to the students was about Rs 30,000 per month.

A different experience filled with enjoyment with the locals and made a lot of friends.

Placements: This college has a central placement rule with lots of opportunities, and you can go to any NIFT campus for placement, but you can choose only 3 of the campuses. Apart from that, you can get PPO from the companies where you did the internships. As per the curriculum, you have to do three internships per semester.

NIFT, Chennai one of the best centers to do your fashion degree as the standard of education they offer is enhanced by experienced professors from the design and garment industries. Infrastructure is brilliance but needs more attention on personal facilities. Chennai being a metro is again one of the reasons you should pursue your education here as you will come in touch with various cultural and social events in the city which in turn help you knowing about the various cultural, artistic value ...

The entire environment is not suitable for every student.

Placements: Placements are low for our batch compared to the previous year. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, which is less as per the fee we pay. Recruiting companies of our college change accordingly on a yearly basis. I am not aware of the salary packages offered as none of the students in our college feels to share that vital information. Internships depend on students. Few students get them through college, while few get through their own sources.
