NIFT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Madhapur

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. The course named knitwear designing is equivalent to the fashion designing course. But, people choose fashion designing course over knitwear designing course even if there are vacancies in knitwear course. Students go to Delhi College for placements. Only a few companies recruited students during our tenure, but those companies were not from the knitwear designing stream. The result is not satisfactory. Placements: Not good placements for AD department. The AD department is only focused on lifestyle accessories and handmade products. So not much of those fancy high end product designing that we see on the internet. Generally 5-10 students are placed out of 30-34. Average package is not more than 2.5 lacs.

Placements: Mostly 30–40% of them got placed; companies like Shell, Cult Fit, Goldman Sachs, and most of the fashion houses like Gaurav Gupta, Mulmul, Reliance and ABFR also came. I feel they can do a lot better when it comes to packages, and being a design college, they should not bring packages less than INR 5 lac per year.
