NIFT Kannur Admission 2024: Eligibility, Selection Process, Dates, Entrance Exam

Candidates need to submit a list of documents at the time of admission. These are required for verification purposes. Moreover, the documents that a candidate must have at the time of admission are:

• Valid email Id (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)
• Personal and educational qualification details
• Caste/Tribe/ class certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC candidate)
• Disability certificate for a person with disabilities
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg/ jpeg format not exceeding 50 KB

Candidates seeking admission at NIFT Kannur can follow the steps mentioned below to complete the application process of the institute:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT and click on the hamburger option (three vertical lines) and click on Registrations for Admissions from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Click on the "New Log In" tab shown on the new webpage.

Step 3: Register yourselfy by filling out the form with specified details.

Step 4: Submit the registration form.

Step 5: Fill out the application form and upload the image of your signature and a recent passport-size photograph.

Step 6: Pay the application fee to complete the application process.

Students are required to pay the application fee to submit the form and complete the application process of NIFT Kannur. It is non-refundable. It should be noted that the fee is taken from the official source and is subject to change. Check below the list of documents required for "UDAAN Scholarship at NIFT Kannur:

• One self-attested passport size photograph with signature 
• Income declaration-affidavit (Format- B) on non-judicial stamp paper of 10 (Rupees Ten) by each parent.
• Proof of permanent residence.
• Photocopies of Passport and PAN card of parents / guardian and applicant. However, in case the student /parent/ guardian does not possess PAN Card and/or Passport, then an Affidavit may be taken from the student to that effect.
• School leaving certificate for class X and XII (Proof of school fee, wherever possible).
• The copy of receipt of tuition fee paid for the current semester i.e. July – December. vii. Schedule (Format -C details of agricultural land and property, etc.) duly signed by parent with relevant revenue record.
• Bank statements for the last 12 months for all the accounts mentioned in Schedule (Format- C).

Copy of Important Document Required (If Applicable)

• 3 year's Income Tax returns copy/Form 16 for salaried / 16 A for business owners.
• Vehicle registration copy
• Tehsildar certificate of agriculture land alongwith certified revenue records such as khasra, khatouni, etc.
• Documents related to any other scholarship / sponsorship receipt. Document related to SC / ST / OBC / PHP certificate
