NIFT Mumbai in a nutshell.

Faculty: Being in the textile design department gives you the best facilities. They're well-educated and all from different fields in textile. The curriculum is a mix of practical and theory in an appropriate ratio. The exams are tough but interesting to work on, and will give you an insight into professional presentation in front of actual industry experts.

Good campus life but don't keep any fancy expectations, you'll be disappointed. Be open to learning.

Faculty: No exams are taken, only jury is done where we have to show all our works we've done throughout the course. Whatever we are taught helps in portfolio development. If you choose Mumbai campus, you really get to opt for so many opportunities outside campus, it's truly very fun.

Review of Bachelors in fashion technology from the NIFT Mumbai.

Faculty: The professors at our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about our course. All the teachers were teaching us well. The course curriculum followed at the college was relevant and it made the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were of a moderately difficult level. Various workshops were organized at the college by the teachers.

Good placement but the campus is small.

Faculty: The faculty members are approachable and supportive. The curriculum emphasizes practical, hands-on learning. Exams are conducted in the form of jury presentations, typically involving projects that span the entire semester. Faculty members are always available to provide guidance and support.

Overall good experience, just not worth the fees we pay.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, and the curriculum is changed every year according to industry requirements. The faculty members help you anytime you reach out to them, and all of your concerns are brought to their notice. Teachers also consider your efforts rather than comparing them with others.

Review of National Institute of Fashion Technology.

Faculty: Exams are very well conducted. All the teachers are well qualified and very helpful. During online classes (due to Covid) a lot of students faced problems in understanding practical portions but it is something which was everywhere and can't be helped.

I am satisfied with the placements but dissatisfied with the salary packages offered.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-experienced with vast knowledge. The course curriculum is designed very well and it makes students eligible to get into the industry. The exams never seemed difficult. But the workload will definitely be high in the last moments. To get promoted, one has to score 50% of the total marks.

I am dissatisfied with the course, college and faculty members.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very old, and it is not suited for today's industry environment. It has 3 internships, but it does not make us ready for industry and job. Teachers in our college are biased. We have a CMS system where feedback is given to faculty, but no one keeps its record.

It is not worth a course, because at last you will get the knowledge, but you will not get the job.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is average. You will get real exposure when you work with the companies during an internship. That is the real place where you to study the current market circumstances and work on it. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

It is the best fashion institute in India.

Faculty: NIFT Mumbai is not only a spot. I become familiar with my subjects. It's like a smaller than usual world put on solitary grounds with best-class faculty. The region instructs you, as I said earlier, life from an altogether different point of view and not simply the hypothetical information of books. The introduction from the business is colossal as a result of the city itself. However, the sort of opportunity you get once you venture inside is enormous.

It was not at all good enough because of its placements.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were helpful. Few of them were not having any idea about how to treat students and how to talk to them properly. There is always a practical exposure for giving you a proper idea about how this industry works. Faculty members were less as compared to the students. The course curriculum was useful but not that beneficial for getting high salary package placement offers.

It is a good college for real fashion world experience.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are well qualified and helpful. The quality of teaching is quite appreciable. In some of our departments, we have practical classes for better understanding. The college offers a very eco-friendly environment. We have industrial visits for textile and fashion technology department. We have visits to fashion shows and many more for fashion and fashion communication department. You will get a lot of good opportunities here.

1460 strenuous yet totally worth it days of a so called 'adult'. .

Faculty: The curriculum is very vast, and I would definitely say that this college has helped me greatly in gaining a lot of knowledge regrading the various fields I would have to deal with in near future. Certain set of teachers are very helpful and coporative and wish for the betterment of the students but certain teachers have a different approach to teaching all together. They neglect them and even consider teaching a burden at times.

Come enjoy the college life with best faculty members, facilities and go with the best placements.

Faculty: NIFT has a total of 8 departments like B.DES, B.Tech, M.Des, MFM, etc. NIFT has the best faculty members who have knowledge in their field. Most of the faculty members have worked in the industry, so with knowledge, they give us value and experience in the industry. Mostly faculty members use to teach practically not only in classes, but we also go for field studies and craft cluster. The guest faculty members are often called to the college. The curriculum is set in such a way which will help u...
