A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Shortly, this institution is a prestigious institute for mechanical and metallurgical engineering.
Placements: Almost 100% of students were placed. The highest package in mechanical engineering is 16 lakh per annum, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average package is 9.5 LPA, which is better than many NITs. Most recruit companies are JSW. Almost 97% of students got internships in JSW Steel and Vedanta, which gives an average of 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good. The mess is also good . It gives proper food for a healthy life. The quantity is enough to fulfill all the students’ needs. The facilities and infrastructure are lower than NIT but sufficient for spending a good college life. Many programs or seminars are held every month.
Faculty: Faculty is good , all are qualified and have done PhD from authorised institutions like IIT and foreign institutes. Difficulty faced in the semester exam due to an incomplete syllabus, but it depends on students who have done their HW and complete their syllabus through a reference book which is present in the library.
Other: Choose this course because in that institute, mechanical engineering is good in placement wise, and many students crack GATE exam with AIR 3.

My review on our college and my experience till now.
Placements: The average package was 7.5 lakhs. The highest was 14 lakhs off campus. Our college assures 90 percent placement. JSW and Vedanta Steel are mass recruiters. Placements are conducted by the placement cell. Average CGPA for placement is 7.5. There should be no backlogs.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well furnished. Courses are mainly core-focused. Hostels are very spacious. Seniors are supportive. Lecture hall is very big. There are 6 hostels in total on our campus. In which 5 are for BTech students and one is for MTech students. Girls have separate hostels.
Faculty: Faculty are very supportive. Curriculum is a bit old. Faculty are graduates from well-known institutes around India. There are 4 branches, in which computer engineering, production and industrial engineering are the new ones. We have the biggest workshop in Asia.
Other: The intake for 4 branches combined is around 250 students.

Good college for those who want to study only, because many of our seniors got qualified GATE.
Placements: Right now, placements are going on in our college, and many students have secured placements in JSW with a package of 9.5 LPA. As per the previous trend, almost every student gets placement here with an average package of 7-8 LPA. The top recruiting company is JSW, and the company offering the highest package is Vedanta. Last year, Vedanta offered 14 LPA to a student, which was the highest.
Infrastructure: The buildings of our hostel are very nice, and this year, renovation work is also underway. So, it will improve the look and interior of the hostel too. There is availability of Wi-Fi, a volleyball playground, a common room for watching television, and playing table tennis. The food here is not quite good, but our hostel, HJB hostel, is quite spacious. In our college, only 1st-year students live two in a single room; otherwise, all the students live in single rooms. You will also get 24-hour electricity, no water problem. Medical facilities are good, and the doctor is also good. Caretakers of the hostel are also nice.
Faculty: Actually, the teachers are very good; they are very helpful in nature. Also, their teaching skills are too good, and they have good knowledge. The most important thing is that they teach in a very good manner. Also, there is no restriction on anyone of any kind in the classroom. I currently haven't appeared for exams, but our institute has become deemed, so from now on, the difficulty of exams might increase.
Other: Actually, for the branch of Materials Engineering, this institute is one of the best institutes, which also gives tough competition to NITs. The only thing that I don't like here is that there are no good fests and no such excess of extracurricular activities, but these activities are slowly increasing. Also, you will get a chance to avail scholarships.

This college is very good at low fees. Here, the placement percentage is approx. 90 to 100 percent.
Placements: In this college, production and industrial engineering branch are passed out in 2026. But this course is similar to manufacturing engineering so don't worry about placement. Definitely, placement will be very good. This year approximately 100% placement of Mechanical engineering and MME branch. This year 2024-25, the highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA and the average package is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JSW, Vedanta, TATA, Mahindra, etc. Almost every student has done internship with good companies.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities and infrastructure are decent. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are good. Wi-Fi, grounds for sports are available, mess food is average, and medical facilities are also available. In this college mess, food is average, but nowadays no canteen is open for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified, and very knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also very good, but some professors are egoistic. My course is very relevant for industry. It makes the students ready for industry. This course is very relevant to the current industry, so this course is good.
Other: This course is related to manufacturing and management. The best thing about this course is that it is very relevant to the current industry.

Good placement and also has a good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is good overall at the college, and there are many companies visiting for placement. The average package is 6-7 LPA and the highest package is 19 LPA. The faculty members are very helpful and almost every student is placed. In this college, Vedanta, JSW, Maruti, etc. are visited for campus placement .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classroom and the lab are well maintained but in the library, there is a shortage of books. The hostels room are good; in every room, you will find study table, chair, fan, etc. Wi-Fi and electricity are always available 24 hours a day.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and very helpful. Faculty help us academically and non-academically and give us the right path to achieve our goals in life. The curriculum is well define but the Some time it is not follow the curriculum. The pass percentage is 35% in each subject.
Other: I think the coding culture will improve. There is very little crowd on campus.
