It is a decent college to study and enjoy.

Placements: In our batch placements were moderate, few MNC's visited our college, and some students were placed. Moreover, students were placed in the startups from Bhubaneswar because college used to call them frequently and some were placed at BPO's and sales, which don't have any connection with your degree. Also, before the 3rd year, the students are not allowed to do an internship from any organisation if the student is outstanding in studies.

I am satisfied but needs overall development for the core branches.

Placements: Placements for computer science and IT students were good and for the rest of students placements were average. The college is not up to the mark in terms of placements for mechanical, civil, electrical students. It will take a few years probably to build a good profile of students so that they could get good placements.

One of the best colleges for engineering.

Placements: The placements are around 80% to 90%. The highest package for our seniors was 8 LPA and for our super seniors was 20 LPA. College will give you more than enough opportunities to grab a job, a number of companies come for campus recruitment. At last, it will be your skillset that will help you achieve a job.

There were good placements for 2015 batch and also good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in NIST college are good. Many companies are visiting the campus for placements. For our senior batch, the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. About 55 to 60% of our seniors got placed. The highest salary package offered by Byju's company was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA by the companies like Wipro, TCS and Infosys. There is a placement cell in our college and is helpful to get placements.

Review of National Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are moderate. Mainly IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. Several circuital companies also come here. The placement cell is moderate too. About 50% of the students get placed every year from our college. Several students also get placed through off-campus placements. Overall, the placements are quite decent in this college.

I'm not fully satisfied with the college due to the placements of core branches.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, NIST is one of the best colleges in Odisha which puts 100% efforts to place students but only those of CS and IT branch. There is no scope for the placements of core branches such as mechanical, civil or electrical. But, the college tries to place students in the IT sector irrespective of their branches. I don't find this useful as the student studying their core subjects for 4 long years have to work in the IT sector. The average salary package offered is...

Overall, if you want to achieve your dream, then this is the right college.

Placements: The placement record of the college is very good. Every year, companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Aptus Data Labs, visit our college. They hire almost 500 students each year majorly from CS and IT branches. If you want to pursue CS and IT, then this is the right college. If you want to choose mechanical or electrical branches, then don't opt this college as you will get nothing from this institution.

It is a great place to learn, and the fee structure is low.

Placements: The college has tie-ups with various foreign companies and universities, which provide students with better opportunities for their industrial training and other purposes. The placement record of this academic year was not much appreciable. Only 80% of the students were placed, and the maximum students were of the computer science department. The highest package offered this year is 7 LPA. However, our college has a good reputation for its placement records and has a separate wing to meet the ne...

Placements: The placements of our college are very good. Almost 60 to 70% of the students in our batch were placed. Placements for the students of our senior batch were excellent. Almost 80 to 90% of students were placed, and many of them were offered with placements in two or more companies. Well-reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Capgemini were the top recruiters.

Placements: Talking about placement here there is 30-40% placement. But it is almost 90% for CSE branch here. That means placement for CSE is best here. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. Come to NIST every year. Talking about internship the students seeking internship easily get it at India as well as in foreign also. Good placements in 2015, but little low in this year, hope it will increase in 2018.

Placements: You should work hard if you are in core branch. The placements are good, but it depends on how you grab opportunities. Few core companies come to the college for placements. If your CGPA is good, then you can get placed in some IT companies for sure. Last year, 300 students got placed in well-known IT companies.

Placements: One of our college students got the highest package of 19 LPA in an off-campus placement, in Drop-Box Company. As per the on-campus record, the placements are not up to the mark. About 40-50% of the students have got placed in IT companies, with the highest salary of 7 LPA and the average of 3.5 LPA. Placements: There are very good placements. Almost 40% of the batch gets placed, especially CSE students. Most of the students get the offer in Infosys and Wipro. This year, in 2018, someone got 10 LPA package in Accenture most probably. Most of the companies come all the way to NIST to recruit good students.

NIST, a college with strong regional presence.

Placements: The placement is average. The college has a strong regional presence. So the placement is above 50% every year. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini are the major recruiters. If you are a good student then placement is guaranteed. Around 30 companies visit every year.

Placements: Here, the placements are good for CS and IT branches. We get average placements in the rest of the branches. We get average placement, and there are low to high pay scales. Even we get some guidance for higher studies and knowledge of the other carriers opportunities and overall development.
