It's a good college for studies but a bad one if you wanna show off.

Placements: The current situation of placement in out college is quite good. If you're an average scorer (say 7.5+ CGPA) you may be able to easily get a job with a package of 3.5 LPA and if you're a good scorer (say above 8.5 CGPA) you may even crack jobs with packages 10LPA or above. The highest placement in our college is of 22LPA till date. There are several companies that come in this college for job for hiring for every branch so if even if you're an average student you may do just good here. College a...

It is a place to learn with fun.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were very good. Most of the seniors got placed because of the placements classes held in our college. Many startup companies also visit the campus for recruitment. Companies like Byju's and other reputed companies visit the campus to hire students. So, all over from startup to reputed companies visit our campus for placements. Even the defence forces like Indian Army visited our college.

Totally satisfied with the college atmosphere, faculty, infrastructure, and good placements in 2016.

Placements: Placements in our college are normally good. From this year, we have been certified from the National Board of Accreditation, and it very useful for us. From the past placement graphs, it is liable to increase in the future. We have certain PPT ( pre-placement training ) for the placements. We have placement cells for different areas of the placement process.

Placements: Earning a placement in NIST is not that easy. It requires hard work and full focus on academics throughout the 4 years. As years are passing, competition is getting tougher and tougher. Students efficiency of learning is decreasing day by day, and the placement status is also going down year by year. The highest package offered at NIST is 20 LPA by Dropbox company. NIST, Odisha : Best for CS and IT.

Placements: Placements upto the year 2016 was good with an average of 75-80 percent, but for the past couple of years it has seen a drop in the ratio. Over-all if one studies well and is in CS or IT branch then they have a higher chance of getting placed here. The highest salary package : 9.5 Lacs p. a the lowest : 2.5 lacs Per. Annum There is a dedicated placement cell too and is quite helpful in the placement season.

My Nist and it's magnificentness.

Placements: Yes, placements are good enough. The placement team here works so hard enough to get ample amount of companies for placements. Our college is a development member of big companies like Infosys and wipro. Every year they take up a great number of students. There are even many pre placement training classes held in our curriculum that modes up the students and dwells them well for the placements. The highest salary provided is 35k per month. There is a placement cell which gives us information about the upcoming campus drives. NIST builds futures in a healthy and modern environment.

Placements: Major companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, visit the college every year. Last year, due to the recession, placement was poor. But the previous years, jobs were raining at NIST. Around 600 jobs were offered to the students with an average package of 3.5 Lacs P/A. The major selection was from CSE and IT branches. A few mechanical students also got placed in Infosys and Wipro. For EE and EEE, Sankalp Semiconductors visits every year, with a handsome package.

The college is worth your money. Infrastructures, faculty members and facilities are world-class.

Placements: The year I joined had very good placements in the college. The highest package offered was of Rs. 12 LPA and the average package was 4 LPA, but, in last two years, it's not that good. It has moderate placements which any college of this grade will provide. Since the previous 2 years, the highest package didn't even cross 7 LPA.
