Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Good quality education and knowledgeable faculty
    * Opportunities for placements, although limited for B.A. students
    * Good infrastructure, including clean and well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and hostels
    * Friendly and helpful teachers and faculty members
    * Scholarships available for deserving students

Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.A. students at National Post Graduate College - NPGC?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell for B.A. Students

Unfortunately, based on the reviews and testimonials from students and alumni, it appears that the placement cell at National Post Graduate College (NPGC) is not effective in securing jobs for B.A. students. Here's what we found:

    * No placements: Some students mentioned that there were no placements available for the B.A. course during their tenure.
    * Internship programs available for PG courses only: Although the college offers internship programs for certain subjects like psychology, these programs seem to be limited to postgraduate students and not available for undergraduate B.A. students.
    * Rarely provided placements: One student mentioned that placements are rarely provided at the college, which suggests that the placement cell may not be actively working towards placing students in jobs.

Overall, it seems that the placement cell at NPGC has limitations in terms of providing job opportunities for B.A. students. Therefore, we would advise prospective students to consider alternative options when choosing a college for higher studies.

It is an excellent college, but it can be improved.
Placements: The quality of education is good but placements are not good. Students who got placed did not receive good salary packages.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are not good. The whole campus is restricted to a small area. Our college has many buildings and classrooms. In the B.A. course, more than 120 students are seated but the college does not try to find an alternate solution. A playground and auditorium are available, but they are extremely small.
Faculty: Our teachers do not behave well. They speak very rudely to students. They are helpful. The college is affiliated with Lucknow University, but its syllabus does not match that of the university.
Other: Our college has many restrictions. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on campus. If you use a mobile on campus, the mobile will be confiscated by teachers. You need to pay a fine to get it back.

It is the best college with its level of education.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our college every year from all the courses. Many students got placed in BA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.46 LPA and the highest salary package is 8.46 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, Wipro, Flipkart, and Decathlon. Around 70% of students get internships in our college every year at HCL, TCS, Wipro, and Decathlon.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in our department like labs and digital classrooms. Counseling sessions are provided to students. The economics department provides some good books to read and some extra classes to prepare students for government exams.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. They motivate and provide knowledge to students by providing accurate books. They are very helpful and they provide future counseling. The course curriculum is relevant and it helps students to get success in their jobs. Semester exams are averagely difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a scope in psychology and economics. I liked to study psychology. Digital classes should be conducted every week. All the things are provided in our college. Scholarships are provided to all students.

The only good thing would be you don't have to worry every morning about what to wear today.
Placements: I am right now in B.A. 2nd year, so I don't have a say about placement now. But I have heard the highest package offered is 8 Lacs and the average is 3 Lacs annually. They provide placement in Edvizo, Green Ripples Pvt. Ltd., Jinkot Infotech Pvt. Ltd., TCC, Kotak Securities, etc.
Infrastructure: It does not offer any kind of Wi-Fi, as mobile phones are prohibited in the campus. The library is fine but does not have enough books if you want more insight into the subject. Books will help you pass the exam, but there are not even enough books for all the students enrolled. The food in the mess is okay, not very good, and the canteen food is pretty good. Sports and games happen on a daily basis; you just have to be updated about it, even get to compete with other colleges and departments.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and provides help when required. You definitely need to ask for help; there might be exceptions to it, but mostly the teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it deletes some of the really important topics from the syllabus that are necessary if someone wants to continue their study in the same field. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready except for a few subjects like Anthropology. Semester exams are easy in the college if you learn thoroughly everything in the curriculum. Pass percentage is...
Other: There is nothing best about my course as it feels like school, only the syllabus is taught, not anything outside that. They should have more of a practical approach in teaching. If the college would have more societies other than the placement cell. Events mostly happen in the auditorium; no fest happens. The campus crowd is fine, and connectivity is hard if you want to find anyone from whom you can learn as a person. Hardly any extracurricular activities occur.

Review of National Post Graduate College - NPGC.
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. It provides immense help to students by which they get placed in different companies. Observing the high intelligence and discipline among the students, many multinational companies like Wipro, Decathlon, Byju's, PVR, etc., come to the college for placements. Around 170 students were placed in the previous academic year, i.e., 2020–2021.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to that mark. There are computer labs in our college. There is only one library, which is not sufficient for all students. Phones are not allowed on campus. There is no Wi-Fi. The hostel is good, and the food in the mess is also good. There is a canteen.
Faculty: Few teachers are good and few are not. Some teachers are very knowledgeable and will help you. They design the curriculum in the best way. They generally conduct all the exams on time, and the valuation is very difficult. Many students get backlogs.
Other: I chose B.A., and I want to suggest this if you are planning to take admission to B.A. This college is the best at providing education. It is the best for B.Com. There are no fests. State scholarships are provided here, and extracurricular activities are conducted in various forms.

I am satisfied with good faculty and supportive teachers.
Placements: The number of placements was 100. The highest salary package was 7.8 LPA and the lowest salary package was 4.5 LPA. HCL and Wipro hire students. The roles offered are professors, assistant professors, data scientists, and for journalism.
Infrastructure: There are computer labs. Classrooms have digital boards. Chemistry labs and a game area are available. Hostels were provided with food. Wi-Fi is available in the college and hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and provide notes to the students. The question in the exams is not too difficult. They were moderate and provide sample papers.
Other: I chose this course because I always want to prepare for civil services. Students get many things related to our history and world. Equal value should be given to BA. Events and fests are done in college. Students get scholarships. Surroundings are very good.

    Details for NPGC admission .
Placements: There are no direct placements, but if you want to pursue a career in a particular direction, then you could go to faculty members for further guidance. Here faculty are quite good and helpful, and they provide very useful and reliable information.
Infrastructure: I didn't opt for hostel, but I've heard a lot about hostels from my friends there. There are good facilities, and it is very comfortable to stay there. As for the course, the infrastructure is good and flexible. Any student can handle it with ease.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also very good This course curriculum is also very relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready because Bachelor of Arts is not a professional course to pursue. From here, you can go for civil service preparation.
