A college which gives degree to make unemployed students.

Placements: What to talk about the placement as only 3 to 4 companies visit our college. They only take students from the ECE, CS, IT, and the rest from the electrical, biomedical, Applied electrical and instrumentation. It is sorry to say that the civil and the mechanical doesn't get any placement as for them this college do nothing. Only they take money in the name of the placement, but they don't offer any placements to the civil. In 2017, only 4 students were placed out of 120. For the other branches, c...

Never ever come here to study core engineering streams. I repeat.

Placements: The placements offered are almost nil. In our batch, only 8 out of 137 students in ME department are placed till date. Please don't come here to study ME or CE seeing the ranks provided by the websites. In our previous batch, the scenario was more or less same (only 6 were placed). They can't arrange the placements on campus. Every time we had to run to different colleges to sit for the recruitment drives. Around 90% of the campus drives they arrange are pooled campus drives.

Poor placements & average infrastructure.

Placements: Very poor placements. Only one student in our department placed out of 149 students. The placements are below 1% in our civil department. Only IT company TCS visited the campus. They picked only one from our civil engineering department. Our senior batch is also the same condition.

The worst college I came to study.

Placements: The placement here is very poor. Also, the placement cell of the college does not respond on time. Not even a single company come to our campus for the recruitment. We have to go to Techno India University for placement. Placement cell is also very poor. If any company is coming to Techno India, then they will inform you 1 day before the company is coming.

A good college with good teachers and average infrastructure. Very good for CSE, IT & ECE branch.

Placements: Tcs is the mass recruiter of the college. Other than that Capgemini, TVS, and some other company visits our college. TCS mainly took CSE, IT &ECE students. TCS offers 28k per month. No campusing is here for core branch. For CSE, IT & ECE 60 % of the students got placed, but for core branch, only 5% of the students were placed. Though this year one company visits our college & took 26 out of 120 students in mechanical engineering branch. The salary offered was 10k per month. Only 5% of the studen...

Dissatisfied by the faculty.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 50% to 60% with pool campusing. No company enters our college for placements. We go to Techno India main college for campusing. All the colleges come under techno group except NSEC. Students from CSE, IT, ECE are recruited for mass recruiting companies TCS, and the students from other core branches don't even get a chance to sit for placements in any college because no company arrives NSEC to recruit them.

Satisfactory only because the placement was good for my batch I.e 2012-2016

Placements: Placement for my senior batch was not that good. There were several strikes but during our time it was fine. TCS was the mass recruiter as always and it took a huge strength of students. Out of around 140-145 students in ECE, 120 were eligible for TCS and out of those 120, 90 were selected. SAP Labs, Johnson n Johnson and other companies also did the pool placement. All in all, more than 70% of the total strength was placed.

Overall, the worst college in all ways.

Placements: The placements are the worst. Actually, I can say that no placements are held in our civil engineering field. In my batch, i.e., 2014-18 only one student has been placed till now, and in TCS, which doesn't provide us work regarding civil engineering, they will give IT department work to us. So, if you want to join TCS after your engineering, it is better that you take admission in IT engineering.

Never join Netaji Subhash Engineering College.

Placements: There are almost no placements for the mechanical department. This year, only 2 students got placed in TCS. The college is also giving fake placements to students. The college is rapidly increasing the fees for students. No one should take admission in the mechanical or civil branches in this college, or any private college in Kolkata.

Good for degree, don't expect a good job.

Placements: Mechanical engineering is the new branch in the college. So, placement opportunities are very rare for the branch and other core departments. The first batch of the mechanical engineering passed just in 2016, in which the companies which came for placement were mostly IT sector companies. Out the 60 students in the first batch, 32 got a job offer from TCS, which is the main recruiter here, with a package of 3.4 lakh per annum on average. In the second passing batch, the condition is even worse...

My college failed our nation.

Placements: The core branch never gets placed, thus poor placements. For IT sector, there are 90% placements. Only pool campus drives are organised. The college did not care about students' placement. There is no interaction between the training placement officer and students and no news of companies. The maximum package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Don't go to this college for BCA degree.

Placements: Frankly speaking, there is no placement in BCA. For other streams like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, there is good placement but in BCA, there is no placement. From our batch maximum 15% students were placed, not more. And from 4-5 years, placement record is not above 20%. Those students who got placed, salary is not more than 12000. Placement record is very poor.

Not Satisfied with the way of teaching, placement and infrastructure. No canteen and WiFi facility.

Placements: I am a Civil 3rd year student, this department was started in 2012 and first batch was passed out in 2016 and placement statistics is very poor. No Core company visits for recruitment other than 2-3 companies because college does't have proper infrastructure and arrangement for conducting interviews. There is one and only mass recruiter which is TCS which has also reduced the no. , Only 200 students were placed last year in TCS. Overall placement was about 40-50%. Never ever think of this college. This is Shit, no placement, no ground, no place to hang out, no canteen and no hostel facilities. It is situated in a village named GARIA, which is not a part of Kolkata. It is of south 24 Paraganas district. Except one or two every, teacher teaches in Bangla. You have to strike for placements. When your B.Tech is complete with no Placement, you have to sign placement clearance form.

Try to avoid this college if you want to do justice for your college fees.

Placements: There are very poor placements for core streams. Only 20% students got selected through campus placement. TPO is biased that some of the eligible students don't get the call for placement drive. They can't bring enough companies. Even if they bring, only a few selected candidates get chance to sit for the campusing. No one knows based on which criteria those students are selected. Even some worse students get chance before an eligible student.

It’s a medium sized campus. Part of TECHNO INDIA GROUP. I have joined here for the brand name of the management. I am a student of fourth year. The facilities of this college is poor, as compared to any other engineering college. Faculty members are above average. 45% placement took place this year. There are no canteens and Wi-Fi connections in college.

The college comes under Techno India group. The management is money oriented. This college is situated on the outskirts of Kolkata and for the day-scholars, it’s really hectic to reach there on time. When it comes to studies, average teachers and professors are there to help you. The labs are the worst! They don’t actually train you for anything in the lab. If you are too curious, then only you can learn some practical things in this college. The placements are also average, but yes it can ...

Average college with a scope of lot of improvements.

Placements: The average package is less than 10 LPA. The highest package has gone upto 60 LPA and the lowest Package goes below 3 LPA. The internship is okay in this college and needs to be expanded a lot. Most placements occur from CSE IT and ECE branches. Mostly in TCS.

Honest review of college.

Placements: In this college placements are very poor. When I joined this college promise me for better placements but now only IT companies are coming for recruitment. When I joined, management promise me for best companies but in this college whole promises are big zero.

It is the best college in Bihar. Faculty are also the best. Even the hostel facilities are good.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is only 10%. Many students don't get placements. Only a few companies visited here the previous year for placements, and they were not even MNCs. I suggest you not take admission in this college. Location of this college is also not good.
