* Opportunities to participate in events and fests, improving communication skills and creativity

Nirmala College of Arts and Science is a dream college .
Placements: Food technology is a course of analysis of the major technologies in food. The lowest package is 1.8 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. Nestle, Cadbury, Amul, Milma, chocolate companies, and food processing companies are packing quality assurance. Qc, food safety controller lab assistant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, lab, classroom, library, ground, turf, exception area, presentation hall, stages. Hostel life is the best. The food is very good, compared to other hostels. Games are available, like badminton caroms. Nearby clinics and hospitals are available. message is very clean.
Faculty: The teachers are helping and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready Semester exam are quite difficult. 50% is the pass percentage. Nirmala college of arts and Science is Calicut-affiliated college and the exams are quite tough .

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026

A good college in the outskirts of Chalakudy, Thrissur.
Placements: The placement percentage is 80%. The lowest package is INR 3 LPA. The highest is around INR 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, Vendorin, and Appzen. Overall, the placement cell at NCAS is said to be really good and the alumni review is also the same. Also, they offer abroad programs right after the second year.
Infrastructure: Labs are available. Classrooms are good. Internet facilities are only available in labs. The hostel I got is good but there's no Wi-Fi facility available. We got a good room, basically like a small house and the food is also good. The canteen food is also great.
Faculty: Overall, Its okay; however, its more theory-oriented than industry-based training. The teaching quality is helpful, but we need to learn more to get placed. The course curriculum is good but like I said, we need to learn more to be industry-ready. College alone won't make us ready for industry.
Other: It would be better if they could train students for industry.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2023

3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Personally, my college life experience was lower than expected.
Placements: I was a BCA student, and my class had around 40 students. Around 10 students were only placed; the maximum package the companies offered was 18k per month, and the minimum package was 8k per month. The top recruiting company was Nokia; around 20% of students got internships from our course in some startup companies. The major roles offered by our course were marketing.
Infrastructure: BCA offers computer labs, which are obviously needed. The classroom is big and clean with two fans, and the computer lab consists of AC. A library is provided, but we won't get to go there much. The canteen and cafeteria are really good; they provide good food at an affordable price.
Faculty: Teachers are old and cannot communicate with us; some teachers are good and understand us; teaching quality is average; exams are pretty difficult because the course contains mainly coding and programming languages; teachers mainly focus on completing their portions rather than making the students understand the subject.
Other: I chose this course because I was more into computer stuff. The best thing about the course is that if you get good at any programming language, you can do anything except a high-paid job. Our course provides many programming languages, so we cannot concentrate on one. Our campus hosts monthly events and programs. The campus is really crowded because there are many departments.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2024

I am satisfied with the overall management and administration of the college.
Placements: Bachelor of Business Administration is one of the best courses at this college. It offers better job opportunities. They provide campus placements every year. Representatives come from popular companies and offer us jobs. It is very helpful.
Infrastructure: The college management helps in finding the best hostel facilities for students who come from far away. The food and everything else provided there is pretty average. Since the distance from the hostel to the college is less and there is a transport facility arranged from the college, this is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They support us in every way. They conduct exams every month. Internal exams help in keeping up with the portions. Teachers always support us mentally and academically. They provide easier study materials so that it will be easier for us to prepare for the exams.
Other: It is a very good campus. Events like arts, college day, and freshers' day are conducted in a grand manner.

It is an average college.
Placements: Low placements. Students are getting placed but their numbers are limited. Mostly small companies are coming to get placement rather than international or national companies. Also we need to take our own risk to get that placement. We don't have any guides.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not completed in our college. Always they doing construction work in between classes. Also there is no facilities of certain department activities. There is no facilities to dispose sanitary napkins. All other are good. Canteen, lab, etc.
Faculty: Curriculum is not satisfying. We are under calicut university so that they are announcing results after a long time. Faculty are almost good. Some are bad with asking for letters for small problems. Exams are almost conducting properly nowadays after covid 19.

Overall nice and best college.
Placements: 30% of students got placements after their graduation. There are many packages; 800 is the longest and 2000 is the highest. There are many big companies for recruitment, 85%, companies like Aerons. They give any roles in companies according to our skills and experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our college. They provide library, lab, Wi-Fi, etc. Also, our classrooms have projectors for high-tech studies. There are 75+ computers and Wi-Fi in our department computer lab. They also update books every 2 months. I'm not in hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive of the academics as well as our skills. They are very friendly too. Yes, its curriculum is relevant so that students have hope in their future. Semester exams are okay for us if you study very well. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Our course has many opportunities. We are media-related so that we will get jobs in different media companies. I wish to improve the practicals in our course. They conduct big events and fests twice a year. There are 3000+ students in our college. The surroundings of the college are very peaceful.
