NIT Agartala is the leading institute in North East region.

Placements: NIT Agartala placement graph is exponentially increasing, and I think all the students of computer science got placed in big product based and service-based companies. The placement percentage in NIT Agartala is almost 100% in computer science. In NIT Agartala, 50 to 60 companies visit every year. During my tenure, the highest placement was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3.25 LPA from Infosys. Every year some mass recruiters visited our campus and hired around 200 students.

The college is above average and below excellent.

Placements: The placements are good and getting better by year. If you have good knowledge in your stream, you can get a better job although luck also matters. But it is somewhat difficult to get a job in the core companies as their intake is low. Many of the companies are of IT sector and for a damn sure, the student with some knowledge in IT sector no matter which branch will be placed in the companies. Overall, the placements are good for a northeastern state student.

I am highly satisfied due to the wonderful college placements, environment, and climate.

Placements: Students got placed in Capgemini as a senior software engineer which is the best moment for our college career. Capgemini is an IT company which has its main headquarters in France. The placement had 3 rounds, writhe, technical and HR, which I have cracked after working so hard.

The college has good placement ratio and sports, average faculty. Overall, it is a good experience.

Placements: I am graduate from NIT Agartala in 2017, so I know well about the placement. The computer science is the best branch in NIT Agartala. More than 30 companies visit per year as there are 100% placements. The average student also gets 5 LPA package. The highest package in 2017 is 10 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Overall, the highest package is 36 LPA.

I am loving the experience of being at NITA.

Placements: Usually, M.Sc students aren't offered the placements. Not here nor in most of the universities. However, the placements are available for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA students and as far as I know. The salaries offered are similar to most of the universities of national importance. For more details, please refer to other reviews as I am a student of M.Sc. I'm not qualified to answer regarding the internships.

It's an awesome place to learn and explore yourself.

Placements: The placements are good in CSE, mechanical and ECE. Electrical engineering also has placements, but it is comparatively low, but if one works hard, he/she can grab a job. Also, many students are placed in IT companies. Also, many students crack GATE. Many students also get foreign internships.

NIT Agartala - a place of wisdom and beauty.

Placements: I got placed at Infosys even my most of the friends got placed. They all were placed in India's some of the good companies. Around 90 percent of the students got an offer from one or more than one companies. The highest package offered was 22 lacs per annum, and lowest offered was 3.25 lacs per annum. The average offered was 7 lacs per annum. Some got the role as a software developer, senior software developer, senior system engineer, senior data scientist, etc. The internship percentage is less...

It is one of the best NITs in India. It is an awesome college.

Placements: The placements of the campus are good. This year our seniors are the first batch to sit in the placement. Many big and reputed companies like to visit our college. The stipend offered is about Rs 7,000 to Rs. 15,000. Around 80% of the students were placed. If we are focused, then we must get the placement because the college is always trying to do their best for the students.

I am satisfied with the facilities of my college as it has a good faculty and placements in 2016.

Placements: It is a national level college, and there are different companies which visit our campus for the placement purpose. Most of our seniors are placed in the different fields. Last year, a maximum of Rs. 18 LPA salary was offered to the students of the computer science department. There are also several companies which have visited our campus.

The great infrastructure and good faculty. Need to work on core placements.

Placements: The placement record for CSE is good with the average package ranging from 8-15 lakhs per annum. The same thing goes for ECE department. Whereas, for CE, the placements are decent. The same goes for others branches such as mechanical and electrical. For bioengineering, 95% of the students were placed. The placement scenario is changing day-by-day with the CSE and ECE departments as the top priority. The core branches are also getting the great placement statistics. ...

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Many companies visited our campus, and most of my friends got placed. But the percentage is very less in case of civil engineering branch. The highest salary is 18K, and the maximum students got the internship from the college. Every student gets the stipend.

Proud to be a part of NITA. Very underrated.

Placements: Vedanta takes 4 students every year for around 8 LPA. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL visited last year. Other placements are in IT sector companies with offers ranging from 3-6 LPA. It is quite good considering there are only 45-50 students per year. However, most students opt for higher studies and the rest are comfortably placed according to the merit. I cannot say for other departments though mechanical, CSE and EIE departments have seen close to 90% placements last year. ...

I am totally satisfied with my college. My experience was good and I have learnt many things.

Placements: Placements are good. Many companies came when I was in the final year like Ford, Infosys, Musigma, Igate, Cognizant, Polaris, L&T, Reliance Jio, Genpact, IBM, etc. The average salary offered was 3 to 4 lpa. Compared to seniors, our batch had better placements in terms of company and packages. The lowest salary offered was 2.5 LPA. Roles offered to the students varied from company to company (business analyst, graduate trainee, system input-output analyst, etc).

NIT Agartala- A knowledge centre in the jungle.

Placements: The placement scenario of our college is very good and improving day by day to get the excellent tag. In my batch, most of the students got placement offers. Around 510 offers were made out of 640 students. The placement offers for civil engineering students was not that good as only 74% students got placed but mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering have performed extremely well and most the students had more tha...

Placements: Got my placement in Ways 2 Capital with CTC 3.45 LPA. Placement in the college is more than average. If you are from ST & SC category, then you will get more chances in PSUs campus recruitment. Placement of mechanical engg. computer science is best with more than 80% in core companies.

I think, it will improve in the next few years and we can get 100% placements. Our some faculty members are very good. They try their level best to teach us properly.
