Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but placements are good.

Placements: 85.84% of students were placed. The highest package offered is INR 53 LPA, the lowest is INR 7.5 LPA, and the average is INR 8–9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Paytm, Wipro, Cognizant, and Oracle. 85% of students got internships from my course. Application engineer is the top role offered.

Placements: I am from electronics and communication engineering. The placements are really good from both core and IT sectors. The highest package offered this year is 53 LPA, whereas the lowest package is 7.5 LPA. The average package is around 8-9 LPA. I am dissatisfied with bad administration in the hostel and bad placements in the civil course.

Placements: About 38 students out of 130 got placed in our course, i.e., about 29.32% of the students got placed in the civil department. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6.5 LPA. L&T company visit our college each year and hire about 7-10 students. About 20 students from our course got an internship in CPWD.

Good Infrastructure, wouldn't recommend urban students to come here for studies.

Placements: 70 percent are placed. The highest Salary offered is 9 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies have been from the IT sector like Wipro, Accenture, Tredence etc. , some core companies like maruti suzuki, ashok leyland, Alstom etc. Almost 100 percent students got internships.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I am studying in NIT Agartala. According to my knowledge there were many seniors got placement in L&T, mahindra etc. Company. Average placement package was 6to 7 Lacs per year. The highest package was 10lakhs per year and the lowest package was 3.5lakhs per year. There is also a student who got placement although having back. Few seniors are doing internship in other colleges like IIT BOMBAY, abroad ERC.

NIT, Agartala is a heaven for the students.

Placements: The college had no placement for M.Tech students. Even seismic students cannot even sit on the campus, which are coming to the college. This branch is not popular even in the college also. Even the faculty members of the college also don't know about this branch, but when we talk about the faculty of this branch, they are excellent. They always give positive hope that something good will happen to you.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and their teaching techniques.

Placements: Till now, no company visited for BS-MS mathematics, and our teachers are not so cooperative, so till now, only one student got a placement in physics quota, and his package was 3 lacs per annum. The placements are less because of lack of teachers cooperation, and no company came for any placements.

Dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: NIT-A have a placement cell which is handled by a T&P coordinator (student) selected from every branch. Almost 50 companies visit campus every year, including the Direct, Amazon, Adobe, Sprinkler, Oracle, Reliance, Infosys, IBM, Wipro and many other IT companies. In core sectors, PSUs like BPCl, HPCl, PGCIL, OTPC and BCPL and other private companies like ABB, TATA Motors, Mahindra, Reliance, l&T (heavy & construction), JCI, Havells, Fiat, Ashok Leyland, Vedanta, Maruti and some other tier 2 comp...

Look inside NIT Agartala. Don't judge on the basis of NIRF ranking.

Placements: If we see the overall placement, then it is good. But most of the students are placed in an IT company or a CSE related company like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, ADP, Virtusa & many more. Only a few core companies visit our campus, like Vedanta, L&T Construction, L&T Heavy Engineering, etc. Sometimes, one or two PSUs like BPCL or NERLDC also come.

Good college but needs more exposure. Also, they should be more lenient with the hostelers.

Placements: The placements were good. I got placed in an MNC called Denso. A lot of students got placed in different companies like Maruti, IOCL, Tata, Aricent, etc. The highest salary offered was 10 lacs and the lowest was around 3 lacs. Internship was provided to the students. International internship was also provided.

Overall satisfied and most important, it is an NIT.

Placements: Electrical placements are not that good as compared to other circuital branches like CSE and ECE. But, this year companies like LNT, ECC, Capgemini, OTPC, ABB, CGI, Havells, etc. have visited NIT Agartala for recruitments. Apart from this, electrical students are also allowed to sit for mass recruiting companies like IBM and Infosys. PSUs like NTPC, Power Grid visit our college and they pay a very decent package of 10 LPA and above. The highest package was offered by Power Grid at 14 LPA and the...

Faculty members are not that good, and one needs to work hard here.

Placements: About 80-90% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered ranges between 2.8-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Samsung, Wipro, Infosys, Toddle, Jio Reliance, L&T, Nokia, Capgemini, Deloitte, ADP, Reliance Industries and Bharat Petroleum visit our campus for placements. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship at the college. Placements in our college are good, but the average salary package offered is a little bit low.
