Our college has good faculty members, good placements, and facilities that are normal.

Placements: About 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package is 42.5 LPA. The average package is 8.75 LPA. We get offers from top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Infosys. The lowest salary package is approximately3.8 LPA. The overall placements are good especially for CSE students.

There were good placements in 2021 and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Microsoft has offered the highest salary package of 44 LPA in CSE. Samsung has offered a salary package of 14 LPA in electrical. TCS and L&T are top recruiters here. In NIT Manipur, in 2021, the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. It is a decent amount. It is a government institute, so you can consider this because it got a tag of NIT.

NIT Manipur is a good option to study and fulfil your dream.

Placements: Placements are quite good for the previous two years. Mostly 80 - 85% of the students are placed every year. In 2020-2021, the highest salary package offered was 43 LPA to 2 students in Microsoft. One of the students got a salary package of 36 LPA in Intuit. So the placement rate is quite good. This is the most improving new NIT.

I am satisfied with the good faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are better from the 3 or 4 years. From the electrical branch, about 15 students out of 20 get placement. Many companies like L&T, Tata, etc., visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered ranges between 7-8 LPA. This year, two students from the CSE branch got a salary package of 42.5 LPA.

Review of NIT Manipur - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college were below average, and we saw relevant placements only for IT/CSE departments. You can find better placement opportunities in a good private college as compared to this NIT. When I asked the TPO regarding the placement for M.Tech, they turned a blind eye. Anyone joining this college for tag value can surely do by all means but be prepared to look out for jobs from the 1st year, and I advise to all try to get internships in good companies. you can later bag your job eas...

A good college worth joining.

Placements: Placement condition is average in computer engineering. The number of students got placed is nearly equal to the number of eligible students for placement drives. Major companies which visited here for offering jobs are Accenture, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Northeast Frontier Railway, etc.

It is one of the best technical college in North East.

Placements: It is a worthy place for pursuing B.Tech. Major companies visiting our campus are Wipro, IBM, Accenture, PowerGrid, and BPCL from the public sector. Most of the students got placed in the previous year. More than 70% of the students get placed from college. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 17.6 LPA, in the previous year. CS and EE are considered better than other streams here.

Faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: The college provides many placement opportunities, and the students are offered both high and low packages. Almost 70% of the students get placed. Many students from our senior batch got placed with high packages. Some companies visit the institute to recruit the students, and for some companies, students themselves need to go and attend the interviews.

decent placements good facilities and a good choice for upcoming batches as things are getting fast.

Placements: Placements are low particularly in civil branch It has started this year only and with the arrival of new director, for CSE branch it is quite good with most of the CSE student getting placed in good companies like accenture, capegemini, microsoft etc., for ECE also it is okay mechanical and electrical are also Decent we are hoping the numbers to increase. Needless to say the number will increase for sure in the coming days.

It is an emerging NIT in northeast.

Placements: Though it is a recently established NIT, it is more progressive among all the other NITs. Placements for computer science and mechanical branches are better than other branches. The average salary package offered to the computer science students was 5 LPA, and for other branches, it was in between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. More than half of the students of all branches got placed. Most of the Indian companies take an interest to visit the campus in comparison with foreign companies. All the students got i...

Placements: The placements are average and are increasing with every upcoming year. The maximum package this year has been 17.11 LPA in BPCL for CSE, Mechanical and Civil branch students. Around 50% students from CSE branch have been placed this year with one student named Divyank Raj making it to the Microsoft. Around 20-30% students have been placed from the other branches as well. The average package offered is around 5 LPA with the minimum being 3 LPA. The companies which came for on campus selection i...

Placements: This year, the placements were really better as compared to previous years. This year, few companies visited our campus. On an average, 4-5 students of every branch got placed with a quite good salary. The highest salary offered was 21 Lacs in Microsoft. Placement percent of CSE students is better than that of other departments. The lowest package offered was 4-5 Lacs. If we talk about internships, most of the students got an internship from college. A review by an unlucky student of NIT Manipur.

Placements: For postgraduate students, there are no placements. There are so many complications with placements because there is no training available for travelling requirements. They keep a huge amount of money for investments, but there is no development. There is no proper placement cell in NIT, Manipur.

I am not satisfied with the faculty placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for M.Tech students are not good, but B.Tech students have many opportunities. They got a good job, and the package on an average provided was 4 lacs per annum. Many companies came, but for so many times, you will go for pool-campus in NIT Silchar and Agartala. So, you will have a problem regarding these.

The faculty is good, and the campus is still under construction, but placement is not good.

Placements: The placement status is not good on the campus. We have to take placement from the pool campus in NIT Meghalaya, Silchar, Agartala. No company has come to our campus for the placements except BPO. Only a few students got the internships from our batch. Almost, 98% of the students from our batch got the placement from the pool campus from another NIT.

The faculty members are not good, and only assistant professors are working here.

Placements: I think nobody is worried about placement. Almost all outsiders got placement except one or two. This year the highest package is 21 LPA, and the lowest is 4 to 5 LPA. Only Accenture and Mahindra visited the college. I don't know about posts or roles. There is a placement cell. I don't know about placement, but they send students to other NITS for interviews.

Life at NIT, Manipur- good , bad or worse- A review.

Placements: The students have to go for other NITS for placements. Some of the companies recruit the students from the college itself, but the number of students selected is very few. Apptitute and technical tests up to some extent are done in college. Civil students struggle for good placements, but the records of placements is satisfactory.

Placements: The institute is still growing and despite all this, it is giving good placement packages to its students. The average package is around 6 lakhs. 7 to 8 lakh is the maximum package offered to its students. The college has a good placement cell and proper facilities to facilitate placement procedures and attract more companies to offer jobs to its students. Various companies like Capgemini, Wipro, LnT, TCS and many more are coming.

Please don't go in this college after scoring good rank in JEE. You can go only if u r not getting any other NIT. Here the faculties are not up to mark and also its connective and exposures are very low. Placement are nothing. No Good companies are coming. Very company like TCS, Infosys and IBM also you have to go Assam for placement.
