Campus is developing rapidly.

Placements: Most of the people from ECE department will get placed but package depends on the skills of individuals. Most of the ECE students will get placed in it stream, very few students get placed in core companies. As campus is developing rapidly and strength of the campus is increasing placements for the further years will surely increases alot. And average package is 4L per annum at present.

Review of NIT Puducherry.

Placements: Almost 25% of the students in our college were placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. I don't know about the companies recruiting. It is a good college, and the percentage of students may be increased in future.

Good placements and fine place to pursue degree. You need to be self-motivated.

Placements: The placement record was better than our previous batches, i.e. around 80% of the eligible candidates were placed. Companies like Emphasis, Capgemini, L&T, Greatest, Inatech, and few more companies came for placements. The lowest salary offered was 3.75 LPA. The highest salary offered was 8 LPA. The average salary offered was 4.25 LPA. We must be self-motivated to get placed. However, the faculty will assist us.

NIT Puducherry review for the batch of 2016-2017.

Placements: About 40% in my batch and 60% in my senior batch were placed on the campus placements. The highest package offered was 15 LPA. The average was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. The companies such as L&T, Samsung, Zoho, Intellect, Ramco systems, Mu Sigma, Reliance, and Infosys visited the campus. Business analyst, IT developer roles and junior engineer roles are offered to the students. Nobody got an internship at the college. We have a placement cell, and it is not very effective. ...

This college is not good, a true review.

Placements: The placements are not good. CSE had good placements of 60 percent. Don't choose this college for job opportunities. The best package is 15 lakhs per annum, and the average is 4-5 lacs per annum. Recently, it became even worse. NIT Goa and Delhi had great placements.

NIT PY, might not be the college for the fun lovers, but best for an average student.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent for EEE, ECE and CSE. They get placed in L&T and other good companies every year, but for mechanical engineering, it's still a question. Civil is a very new department, so placement for them is also a question.

Satisfied but ended up without a job opportunity. This college has a brand name.

Placements: The placements of the college were too poor when I studied in this college. The highest package was 7 LPA. There was no own campus when we had studied there, but now hearing a great response that the placements percentage is dome from my next batch and they got the own campus too.

NIT Puducherry is yet to develop its infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are quite good but the average package is low and the placement percentage is around 80%. Seniors had a good average package. The companies visited include Mphasis, L&T Infra, IBM, Inatech, GreatWest and many other companies. Students were offered with roles of GET, associate software engineer and senior software engineer.

In my view, placements are good and professors teach well but infrastructure must be improved.

Placements: Placements are quite good in NIT Puducherry. As it has been only 7 years since it was established, the placements were reasonably good. Few students got even 6 LPA and 7 LPA packages. The companies visited were ZOHO, Itron, Mphasis, Intellect, Inatech, IBM, Sapient, Great west, Trimble, Tresvesta, and Capgemini. Among these Itron gave 7LPA and Capgemini offered 6 LPA. Most of the companies offered software engineer roles. Although, intellect offered for a consultant role. Placements are pretty g...

I'm only satisfied about placements and some professors who teach really well.

Placements: Placements were really good this year. In CSE, 19 out of 25 students got placed till now and good number of students were placed in ECE and EEE. Students have a good talent here and that is what reflected in placements. College placement coordinator is striving for the college placements.

As it is a new NIT, college operates at temporary campus called Anna Arts College so the campus is not big as compared to other NITs. Our campus construction is going on and estimated to finish the work within a year. Once it’s constructed, it's going to be an excellent campus compared to other with all facilities. Right now our college placement is going very well and most of them got placed. So got a very good packages. Most of the recruiter are MNCs. So hopefully Placement records is going ...

It’s one of the 10 new NIT's. Placement wise it is improving a lot and education is also great. NIT Trichy is our mentor of NIT, so no problems regarding faculty. Faculty members are relatively inexperienced. Place is remotely located, so students might face difficulty in finding coaching classes.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed this year. Many reputed companies visit our college for recruitments. Students with 7.5 CGPA can easily expect placement in a good company. Comparatively, our college has few placements than other renowned NITs. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA.

Faculty is not good, only a few placements in 2016

Placements: As the national Institute of Technology, Puducherry is a newly formed Institute, there are no good placements. We have to struggle a lot for placements, the offered companies asking at least for sixty five percentage. Highest salary offered is six lakhs per annum. And the lowest is two lakhs. Only twenty five percentage students were placed. Average salary offered is three lakhs.
