Placements: Placements were good of our senior batch and better for our batch. Almost 70% students were placed. The minimum package was 3 LPA, the maximum was up to 9 LPA and the average was 5 LPA. Companies like PepsiCo, Reliance, Coal India, Murugappa Group, etc visited our campus. Students were offered mainly engineer trainee roles.

The department has highly motivated and experienced teachers. The course is structured well and is regularly revised and modernised. The workshops and labs, though ageing, are very well equipped. At first, I was very confused that where should I get admission and which is the best one. Then my uncle suggested this awesome place, NITK. I will say that it has very good academics as the courses are always revised according to the need of industry. The best co-operative faculty is always there to help you.
